Gordon Speer was last seen near Chimney Rock and South Braeswood wearing khaki pants, a long-sleeved bulky shirt, black Sketchers walking shoes, a baseball cap and glasses. He is white, 63, 180 pounds with blue-gray eyes and glasses.
Speer walks normally, but his right lower leg is injured from an motorcycle accident. Longtime friend said Speer blacked out during that accident about a month ago, and he said it is possible that he may have again. Still, despite the blackout, Speer returned home after the crash.
The friend planned to go with Speer for a late lunch on Friday. The two live together. The friend approached Speer's room on Friday afternoon to see if he was ready to leave. Speer, who regularly walks around their neighborhood, was not there, and he did not return.
