I missed this case when it first hit and have been trying to play catch up but I think I have just confused myself more. A couple of questions if anyone has time to answer them:

1. Why is everyone so interested in the iTouch or fake iTouch? What does that have to do with her being missing? Even if it was missing and with her, in this amount of time unless she was somewhere and actively charging it, the battery would be dead.

I think where I was once certain, but quite mistaken, was the idea that a fake Itouch wouldn't post to FB saying "Posted from Iphone" (which, all Apple products of this type post as Iphone even if it's not.)

That was leading me to believe that there could of been a real Itouch that HD was using prior to her going missing, but whom would that of been?

Since then, I was proven wrong and someone said that their cleverly designed fake Itouch does in fact post like I said earlier.

Hope that makes sense, at the time I thought it very important.

To be noted, there was a fumble or confusion on NG whether or not it was fake itouch, a broken itouch or a missing itouch. Generally, there it's all a big confusion.

Why was it so important for Hailey to come home? She had been at MB's house for less than 24 hours. She didn't know MB's mom at all but was she worried about Hailey wearing out her welcome? IDK if that were me I would probably call the mother of my daughters friend and see how things were going. If it was time for my daughter to come home or what. Hailey was only going home to an empty house or her brother. IDK what I think anymore, so confused constantly. I haven't felt this confused since the CA case which still has me perplexed years later.

Question. What is the criteria for taking a case to its own forum? It seems with so many different aspects of this case and a real need to look into possible SAR areas that this might be a good candidate? Ori!ah and I have been talking and would love to work on the SAR aspect, but it's hard to do when the thread is blazing. Thanks for the consideration!

Why do we believe Mb's mom? I tend to believe that she knows a lot more than she is telling. The dogs went to MBs. How would the bloodhounds know to go to MBs? moo Maybe, MB has a bro or cousin that needs to be looked into. Or Cecilia Garcia (DIAZ) has a boyfriend that needs checked out. IDK... IMO

You seem to really be stuck on this woman. I would love to know what you know. lol

Not to mention that knowing someone might be asked to take another one and would be a great reason for refusing. I'd like to see her take another one and pass it so I could start believing again!

I have been told if the mother was having doubts about SA her test would most likely show deception.

Being that BD was told that SA failed his poly before she took hers, this could be a simple explanation for this.

DUNN: She went missing on Monday while I was at work. My boyfriend - - he came home from work about 3:00 -- or he got to my house about 3:00. And he`s seen Hailey. Hailey was there. She told him, I`m running across the street to my dad`s house for a few minutes but I`m going MB`s, and I`m staying the night there. Let my mom know.

So that evening when he picked me up from work, we got home, we were getting ready for bed. I didn`t get worried when I hadn`t heard from Hailey. I thought she was at MB`s. I was kind of upset that she didn`t call and confirm it with me, but not worried at that point.

Tuesday, I was at work again, I left my cell phone at home for my kids to use when I`m working. So Tuesday, I called my son. I said tell Hailey text the little girl, her friend, tell Hailey she needs to go ahead and get home. This was around lunch. My son called me back within a few minutes and she said, mom, she said Hailey never made it over there. She never spent the night.

So at that point I called Hailey`s dad and found out she didn`t over there and she didn`t stay the night with him. I left from work and went to the police station in Colorado City and reported her missing.

That one sure seems easy enough......I think she would remember if she called the dad or not and I think he would remember who told him H was missing, so who's not telling the truth?

Sarx- would it still be productive to bring in any type of tracking/SAR dogs? Other than HRD, at this time?

Yes, there are dogs in TX that train for aged trails in this range. I think it is worth a shot. I think they need to call K9 SAR of Texas in (I've said it before).

I think they need to bring in water dogs as well.

Just to add it on, HRD for those that don't know is human remains detection. Cadaver dogs is NOT an appropriate term and is not used by us in the K9 SAR world. Hoping that one day I can get everyone converted and maybe even the media will pick up on it! (Wishful thinking I know)

Ok i havent seen the myspace page, but there are tons of people into horror films and the macabre. I have a friend thats into serial killers, but she for sure isnt one. I looked at the post of the michael myers site and nothing too weird to me.

I dont see much difference between the people into real life serial killers and fake ones in movies. I have friends that think I am strange for being into crime cases and what not. Most people just see stuff on TV and move on. They don't follow cases. So i consider sleuthers in the same realm of people who take a shine to the mysterious and morbid.

Yeah there is that too, but I just figured since she spent the night with Clint Sat night, it was just a part day here part day there thing. But she could have made it clearer, because if she wasn't at the same place all day there was an opportunity for her to be somewhere or talk to someone or whatever.

What I mean is what made her think that LE was needed, we have kinda figured out that H was pretty much on her own most of the time, what made her think things were urgent and H was not just somewhere else?

Exactly. I take what someone says at face value. She is on TV saying one thing then another day its something else and not to offend, but all the Ativan, or ambien, or pain killers or tylenol cant make you just forget who told you your kid was missing. Like in the Jonathan Foster case the mom didnt want to look bad and was lying.

As judge Judy says, "If it dont make sense then its probably not true.".

Why does Clint say he "seen her the day before", when his son asks him on Tuesday if he had seen Hailey? The day before would have been Monday...

Also LE said in this's morning article on bigcountry that the family used the internet at library and LE was looking to see where else she may have used it.
