I don't imagine she would bring much to sleep at a friend's house...maybe nothing at all. But if she told BF that, then she had decided before she left the house, whether her friend knew or not. And true, something could have happened to her in the interim.

What about the rumor with the boy in another town? Has his name surfaced and has he been found? If he exists?

The mom stated on NG that, Monday night, she was a little upset that Hailey didn't ask her or call her about it. But she figured Hailey was okay and over at the friend's, so she didn't worry about it.

The hotel and fast food places close to the hotel would have wifi. Hmmmm.

The local hotels do have WIFI... when I am in town there I have to park there to check messages and such... LOL

I don't understand the dad's girlfriend part either...I'm sorry, busy with newborn or not, when a child vanishes, you would remember if you had seen her. I can't help but think we have this wrong...did she really say she couldn't remember if she saw her on Monday? When she was probably asked on what, Tuesday?

This little girl was home all day byherself. Mom's bf shows up and all of sudden she has these plans and leaves. A couple of hours later Mom will be home. Not making sense. The child did not want to be alone with the bf. maybe. moo

1. Hailey never left home
2. She left to walk 6 blocks to talk to friend about sleepover - warm day - and never made it.

It's a good thing I didn't have daughters. They would, no doubt, hate me. For sure, without a doubt, NO FB OR MS!! No walking anywhere, alone. Phone contact....OFTEN! What I've learned from cases here on WS.....well...just a good thing I had sons and they are grown.

I wish I knew someone who was fluent in Itouch. I know when I was researching ereaders I learned the closest wifi in my small town for Nook was the local McDonalds or drive 40 miles for better wifi service. Kindle I can download from home.

My two daughters did hate me because I am a crazy mother. Don't try to fool me because I will find you and I did. Lots of embarrassing moments, lol. I rang phones, I beat on doors, and I drove up and down streets until I found them. This one is 20 and I still do it.
