GUILTY TX - Hazana Anderson, 2, College Station, Brazos County, 28 Oct 2018 *Arrests*

She is so darn cute. Hazana and Darnell both. And I hope that today is going to be the day for them.

I hope that LE has been allowed access to the mom’s phone and her location data for the past 48 hours or so.

And just in case ... :(: Once the location history has been determined, I hope that they check Dumpsters (not only for Hazana herself, but the clothes she supposedly was wearing) along the route. If that isn’t feasible, perhaps they can visit transfer stations before the waste is sent to landfills.
Maybe they should look around this teen center area.

I can't quote for some reason:

It bothers me when people say a child "should" be able to do things at a certain age. All children do things in their own time. Some take longer. Some need extra help. So whether or not the child was drinking from a cup/bottle or used a stroller means nothing really. I have known many children who use a bottle or stroller longer. And often it isn't a parenting "choice." That's a ridiculous assumption.

A child should possess the motor skills to drink from a sippy cup by age 12 months and an open cup by around 18 months. These are milestones that most children should hit. I'm sorry if you don't agree with that.

Quite possibly the child did not use a bottle at all. That might have just been part of the story the mom concocted.

Great sleuthing, Soulmagent.

According to the official City of College website, the Exit Teen Center is now called the Southwood Community Center.
City of College Station : Brian Bachmann Community Park
City of College Station : Southwood Community Center

It’s only a nine-minute drive from the Community Center to Gabbard Park ... :(:

All 4 of my kids still had a bottle at night at this age, they had the motor skills to drink from a cup, they needed it for comfort. My oldest is now 18 and is doing just fine. Anyway, I doubt this little girl was even at the park to begin with and we have much bigger things to discuss other than if she drank from a bottle.

I"m not the one who took issue with the initial comment, which was just a throwaway comment to begin with, and was clearly not the point of my initial post. I'm sure your children are fine, and I'm sure this child was never at the park.

No Sleuthing it was just what poped up when I put her name in google. It did lead to some interesting observations which I have no time to look into one is the southest park which seem way more isolated but I am thinking if she did something to her baby they should search near the A&M farm. She would have knowledge of the parks because of the teen center activities and there appears to be lot of family connection to A&M.

Sorry, I sound like Nancy Grace. My fingers are so cold typing but I can't believe it.

Mom of missing College Station 2-year-old arrested and charged

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KTRK) --
Authorities have arrested and charged a mother whose 2-year-old daughter went missing from a College Station park on Sunday.

Tiaundra Christon, 21, is charged with child endangerment and false reporting to police. She was booked into the Brazos County jail.

So if they know it is a false report she must have told them something more. Hopefully she will tell where Hazana is.

With regard to the dogs not picking up her scent at the park.... would there have been a scent to pick up if she'd just been in the stroller the whole time? And then carried off by whoever took her?

I don't believe she was at the park, but just wanted to put this out there as a possibility!

Mom in the mugshot looks like she just woke up. I'm thinking she was out late or partying, came home and zonked out and during the night or early in the morning the little girl gets up and opens the door and heads outside. Mom wakes up, finds her gone and has to come up with an explanation.

Yes, there would still be a scent. Plus they may have used both tracking dogs and air scent dogs who are trained differently.

Tracking dogs work with their nose to the ground. They follow a trail of human scent -- typically heavy skin particles that fall quickly to the ground or onto bushes -- through any type of terrain. These dogs are not searching, they're following: Tracking dogs need a "last seen" starting point, an article with the person's scent on it to work from and an uncontaminated trail. Tracking dogs are usually used immediately after a person goes missing before other people compromise the scent trail with additional movement.

Air-scent dogs, on the other hand, work with their nose in the air. They pick up human scent anywhere in the vicinity -- they don't need a "last seen" starting point, an article to work from or a scent trail, and time is not an issue. Whereas tracking dogs follow a particular scent trail, air-scent dogs pick up a scent carried in air currents and seek out its origin -- the point of greatest concentration.

“For a majority of Sunday afternoon, Hazana's mother was at the police station speaking with investigators. Her father, Brodrick Anderson, was at the park Sunday, along with several other family members, as the search expanded into surrounding neighborhoods.”

This is similar to the scenario Emily Glass used when she woke up from a nap and her stepson Lucas Hernandez was missing. (she eventually led a PD to his body). This lame excuse is as old as the hills. If Hazana is deceased it is imperative to find her body as soon as possible in order to determine COD, before decomposition precludes the cause.
