Search continues for missing 2-year-old
Hazana's mother, Tiaundra Christon, was apparently dating a man with family in Louisiana and ties to Houston, according to Anderson. Anderson said investigators searched the boyfriend's apartment. College Station police told KBTX investigators haven't expanded the search outside of town. Lt. Craig Anderson said they are interviewing witnesses and anyone that might have seen Hazana last, including Christon's boyfriend. Authorities haven't been able to locate the little girl since she was reported missing.

I also saw a video where they said she weighed 80 lbs. I think it was an error on the reporter's part. It did give me pause for a moment though. My youngest is 8, and she's only about 50 lbs.

It's been repeatedly reported that she weighs 28/30 pounds.
The reason Mom's height stood out to me is because I'm also short but not THAT short. She also weighs 50 pounds more than I do.
I can't quite articulate why this is relevant, I just feel like it may have impacted her ability to cover up the crime IF she acted alone.

I know lots of two year olds who still drink bottles in the day! It has nothing to do with a mom being lazy. Also, my kid eats breakfast, then snacks right after sometime. At that age they kind of graze, so I don’t think this is unusual. I do think 8am is a tad early for the park, but not unheard of I guess. I do think this woman’s story, overall, seems shady though. Especially since she said the child was strapped in a stroller...

I do think it is weird to strap a 2 yr old in a stroller, and then walk away and leave them alone in a kind of deserted park.

I mean she's in a stroller, why not push the stroller to the car to get the bottle? It's not like she was carrying a 90lb boulder and didn't have the strength to carry it a few extra feet to the car!

All 4 of my kids still had a bottle at night at this age, they had the motor skills to drink from a cup, they needed it for comfort. My oldest is now 18 and is doing just fine. Anyway, I doubt this little girl was even at the park to begin with and we have much bigger things to discuss other than if she drank from a bottle.

True. But giving a bottle to a child for comfort aT NIGHT. as they are being laid down for sleep, is different than giving them a drink of liquid at the park. At the park, the child could be given a sip cup to drink from, without the need for a bottle.

Just seems odd to give a 2 yr old a bottle at 8 am.

4:00 pm update most everyone has cleared the park. Doesn’t appear they found anything. Waiting for next update from CSPD

2:55 pm update: CSPD confirms this IS part of the search for Hazana Anderson. They are searching the park and in the pond because this is near her mother’s home in Bryan.

2:45 pm BREAKING: A significant number of emergency vehicles are at Travis Bryan Municipal Park in Bryan. It appears a boat is about to go into the water. We are working to confirm if this is related to the missing girl search.

ugh...I hate the fact they had to clear the pond. But I guess it is good they didn't find anything.

I don't know the trash schedule but sure hope they are able to find the dumpsters and have them checked.

When I was initially thinking of the stroller, I was imagining an umbrella stroller. But it wasn't, it was a standard stroller. I think the fact that she's 4'11" makes it even less plausible that she took the baby in the stroller, rather than just used the stroller as a prop to "prove" she had a baby with her. Those strollers are cumbersome, and can be difficult to open/close, probably even more so for a woman of such small stature. I just don't think more people would bother with it, rather than just letting her walk .

Mother of missing child arrested for child endangerment

(Shades of Emily Glass, the Matthews... “child endangerment”)

“Online records show Tiaundra Christon, 21, was arrested early Monday and charged with child endangerment and giving a false report to police. College Station Lt. Craig Anderson said they are still trying to locate 2-year-old Hazana Anderson.“

And shades of the case in Largo Florida

I do as well.

Prayers tonight for little Hazana & Darnell *and tears*.

Just for the record.
She didn't strap the baby to the stroller.
She didn't leave the baby to get a bottle.
She didn't go to the park with the baby.
IMO that poor innocent little baby was long gone before that morning.

I completely agree!

Perhaps another young single 21 year old mother overwhelmed by caring for a baby. Not sure if father lives near his little one.
So sad :(
