ETA: I just reread the affidavit. The fact that “both doors closed,” makes it clear that MF returned to the passenger seat. Who the hell was driving?!

And why is there no mention of it in the affidavit?

Also, why did CG's mom say there was never a relationship between CG and MF when clearly there was?

Austin mom killing: What may have happened before Heidi Broussard's death
[...]
... Fieramusca left the hospital about an hour after Broussard delivered the baby, according to documents, and returned to the apartment, where she reportedly stayed for two days and then returned to Houston.

[...]

Was she alone in the apartment, I wonder? Did SC come home to sleep? I wonder where TB was. 48 hours would be when HB was going home - how odd for her to stay that same period of time in their hospital and not see HB again (I'm assuming that from the wording - I don't know that)

Heidi's phone went with her. How did MF stop her from dialling emergency when the car took off before she'd even had a chance to get strapped in? This is so puzzling still.

At first glance, the quick departure with Heidi and baby in the back seat as soon as the door was closed shut had an element of emergency to me -- until reading that HB allegedly left the apartment door unlocked.

From the affidavit, we also learned that HB was not observed (at least according to the eye witness) stopping at her car and depositing her pocketbook inside -- leaving the car door unlocked.

At this time, I believe that MF returned to the apartment sometime that day and was responsible for leaving the apartment door unlocked and placing HB's pocketbook inside her parked car (and leaving car door unlocked). MF had access to the apartment and HB's car as she reportedly never returned the set of keys she borrowed while at the hospital for baby Margo's birth.

I still don't believe that HB ever intended leaving the parking lot when she went outside to see MF carrying her infant. However, I don't think HB ever thought she was in danger when the vehicle drove away that she would phone 911. There must have been some explanation even if it was moving across the lot to park in the visitor section MF vehicle stopped perpendicular to vehicles in parking space. (MF was not parked in a car space when HB got in the back seat).

The affidavit says that she was given the key on the 26th, she left and returned to Houston on the 27th.

I was referring to this: "returned to the apartment, where she reportedly stayed for two days and then returned to Houston." - the two days being the 26th & 27th. Then I'd assume she left PRIOR to HB coming home after the normal 48 hour stay after a birth - so the 28th - which I find very odd. Sorry I didn't make that very clear.

The thing I found odd in there is that it was typical for the apartment door to be unlocked, but not her car.

Well, we know more than we did before @FireHorse provided the AA for us, but now we have more questions :)

Who was driving that car if not MF? Who actually did the nasty deed? Strange that MF was searching for "bodies found in Austin" if she was certain HB was in her trunk. Why bother? OR was driver supposed to ditch the corpse and didn't, just shoved it into a duffle bag? Nice way to get her nailed for the murder.
I know, perhaps a "bridge to far." :D

So the prosecution isn't sharing anything with the defense, although they typically do and it's 'policy', but they are not legally required to. They site "case complexity". But they unsealed the arrest affidavit before it was required to be released?

JMO But I think they are looking for more information and they are hoping by releasing this that they will get additional tips.

The attorneys are being a little dramatic. What #7 actually says is this:

"Discovery will be made available as soon as practicable prior to indictment unless the prosecutor believes that disclosure could impair an on-going investigation or possibly place a victim, witness, or the community at risk. If discovery is provided prior to indictment, defense counsel should be aware that it is likely to be limited and/or incomplete at that point. It will be necessary for counsel to continue checking TechShare for supplemental discovery."

From the image:

63. During the search of the 2015 Nissan Versa four door, bearing Texas License Plate [redacted], Texas Ranger Gary Phillips located a human corpse in the trunk of the vehicle. The human corpse appeared to be a female with long hair. The human corpse was shoved into a black duffel bag.

That #63 really makes me sick, for all that MF did to Heidi, she "shoved" her into the bag. Based on having read the full report that Firehorse posted. I feel once MF neutralized Heidi and strangled her, that she dumped her body somewhere btwn Austin & Houston. I feel after MF did her google searches on 'bodies founds near Austin' and combined with what info she slithered from Heidi's other friends, that she returned to the spot she dumped Heidi's body originally then "shoved her into a black duffle bag" and returned back to Houston. I don't feel the body was in the trunk since Dec 12. Thinking logically, she has the baby to show CG on the 13th...probably with other goings on she didn't get that chance to return to the 'dumping ground' till a few days later when she likely thought no one would spot her. I can cut CG some slack in my mind on not smelling an odor as a result.

On the issue of MF being seen at the apt complex in the passenger seat side'. I don't believe for a moment someone was in the driver's seat. I think MF may have gone on the passenger side perhaps to retrieve some cloth soaked chemical to neutralize Heidi when she and the baby came out. (Docs I think say she was seen then opening the rear door for Heidi who was carrying her baby) Nothing more nothing less.
What reading documents indicates to me is how truly cold and extremely calculated MF was in her planning over time. I have no doubt the reason she interjected herself into some of Heidi's dr. visits and then the delivery, and even staying over night in Shane/Heidi's apartment was to plan her false story from every angle, including figuring out her plan on how and when to abduct Heidi. Can you just imagine? This evil woman stayed the night in Heidi & Shane's home while plotting her abduction and murder , on the same day Heidi had just given birth????!!! Horrific!

I was under the impression that CG was gone for days, but if he was buying baby stuff the same day they discovered the body, why didn't he smell it in his own backyard? The trunk of the car was very near where he would be getting in and out of his own car, if he parked in the driveway.
Is this our first clue that he's not the world's most observant chap?

This just leaves me so confused. If CG and MF had previously been dating a significant period of time, he would have heard of or possibly met MF’s friend, Heidi. I would think he would have had to have heard news of missing mother Heidi and Baby Margo? Right? So, when MF appears w/baby after being “out of town” (big no-no for at term expectant mothers), the very next day after Heidi and Margo go missing, how does this not raise red flags to CG???

Maybe not if he believed MF was in-fact pregnant and delivered the baby the day before he saw them at home for the first time since MF allegedly went to the beach with her cousin. CG may have been up all night with his alleged newborn and not watching the news. Nonetheless -- he did not hesitate to identify the infant as Margo when he was presented with her photo by an investigator (at Target).

I'd have to re-read affidavit - not sure of the exact dates he was with MF/baby to when he was approached at Target by LE.

I'm thinking, IF there IS someone else involved, releasing the AA, could make this individual a little uncomfortable. He/she would assume LE are looking to gather more evidence to include an accomplice. Maybe LE are watching said person for a "reaction" to this new information. Just a thought.
