Hmmm...
could also explain why there were no photos or references to SC on her SM...

btw, glad you're out of your abusive situation.

Me too, thanks!

It seems one thing everyone agrees on "Heidi would never leave her son, ever". How awful it must be for him without his Mama :(
Yes. So sad. My heart breaks for him. What does one tell a child under these circumstances?

  • #405
Why should he?

Every little word and detail abd facial expression is going to be picked apart.
Because if his goal is to find his girlfriend and baby, nothing else matters. I doubt he shares the same concerns you are voicing.

We can't sleuth family members
Wasn't sleuthing this was in a missing person's for Heidi, that he shared. It shows info on the door being left open. The day she disappeared.

The question about Baby Margo has been asked to APD. Are we to assume that Mom and Baby went to school and that Mom and Baby returned to the apartment as reported by APD?

APD said in last presser that apt was last known location of MB and Baby [edited to update after listening to presser again] SOMETIME IN THE MORNING.

SC reports (unverified by LE) that he spoke with HB around 8am.

Where was HB at 8am when she last allegedly spoke with SC? Was she in apt after book fair, in transit to apt or still at school?

When did HB make it back to apt? Why did APD not provide a precise time for the return?

Reposting last known picture of MB as oddly the Press don't seem to be reposting this picture as frequently as other photos that aren't current:

HB is listed as the "Complainant", so it seems she was the one who phoned police.

The media's kind of busy with what's going on in this country alone, plus it seemed it be quite a busy day for LE in other circumstances for the APD. IMO, innocent or guilty, it is wise for one to stay radio silent on the media with the exception of pleas for missing people to be returned home.

IMO, SC put himself out there and that was a choice. It is common knowledge in today's society that the closest people to victims are at least highly scrutinized, if not the perps in the end. Most people know their killers.

I am NOT saying SC committed a crime here. There is currently zero evidence in this case as far as anyone outside LE is concerned. However, that being said, SC is just the first of what may be several people in HB's life that may have been involved in some way. I don't know that I agree that SC is being crucified. I think many people agree the jury's still out on that one. And he put himself out there. Respectfully MOO.

BBM - right, so has he not done an interview because the media hasn't had time? or because he is choosing not to? Does the same apply to her parents? Why are they not pleading for her return or for everyone to be on the look out?

In SC's interview's from earlier this week, he said he wasn't reading online, was trying to stay positive, didn't want to read all the negative stuff and said he didn't care. Maybe that has changed and anyone reading the comments on the public posts (news stories, Heidi/Margo missing posts) on FB could probably figure out why.

I am also of the opinion that even if innocent, anyone in this situation should have a lawyer so interviews like SC's are not even an issue and taking away from anyone searching for the missing. JMO

We can't link to family members pages at all.

I am seeing genuine tears and turmoil from SC.
But I'm thinking it's remorse.

I don’t. I see heavy blinking, pinching the eyes and nose area and quick recovery when asked another question. I see smiles and giggling. None of that from HB’s parents or friends.

Some people can cry on demand.

I think I would do the same, or would hope my husband would as well... but have you read some of the posts? He is being crucified for the interviews he has already done, every stumble, every word is being picked apart. Then LE says in a presser the other day that no one has been ruled out, my best guess right now is that someone has told him to just stop doing these interviews (lawyer or smart family/friend), if he is truly innocent, a large part of the population has already judged that he is responsible and it is taking away from "looking" for Heidi and Margo IMO

I don't see anything from him today or even yesterday... can you link me to the last time her parents made a plea in the media? Isn't this odd too? is this their fault or is it the media losing interest or what is it? When the thread was shut down this morning, I was looking online for any new news today... there have been no new updates from family that I can find since Tuesday I believe.
Not only that but people are saying he doesn't show enough emotion, he smiles, laughs etc.

I can't blame him for not wanting to do anymore interviews.

He is being blamed all over the internet.

I would never give an interview if my family member was missing. I would think whether guilty or not- that it is emotionally exhausting. I couldn't do it. I'm sure as a man it is even harder when society expects men to be so stoic. Showing those types of emotions and being picked apart for doing it (or not doing it in some cases) has to be very hard.
We had a missing persons case here where I am located, and the husband was cleared by authorities. No body was ever found. Her car was never found. There was so much speculation that it was the husband- that he no longer does much in the public eye. Local people made life miserable for him and his children. This was in the early 2000's before social media and such rapid media attention. I cannot imagine what the man would have lived through today...

I think this is part of SC tears...
...the reality of the situation in the aftermath of what has taken place.

He would look even more suspicious if he didn't do interviews.

Since you are a local, I'm curious about your opinion or thoughts. This has been a week now, are people expressing concern for safety? I don't think APD has said that there is or isn't a public safety issue, so I'm curious about the local perspective. TIA :)
