Didn’t SC say in one of his interviews that the other kids don’t know that they are missing and they are currently staying with other family members while this is going on?

He has a daughter with an ex wife who also lives nearby. That daughter probably lives with her mom. I think as this first came down, he had his son staying elsewhere and may have mentioned it was shield him from what's going on. The boy could be back home with him now but we don't know.

And during the holidays, desperate people do desperate things. Maybe someone was about to have to produce a new baby to show at a family holiday function, that they’ve been lying about. Some of you may think that isn’t an option, since the mom is missing as well but if someone was trying to take my new baby, they would have to kill me to do it. Especially if the baby was with me when they took him/her. I pray this isn’t the case but they seriously need to consider all angles. Nothing people do surprises me now days. We are living in a strange Evil world.
Thank you for your opinion and open mind. I agree with you.

I wonder if she called for an Uber/Lyft to somewhere?

BBM:

"..as he was genuinely searching for her?"

When is it you think he was genuinely searching for her?
Because he wasn't out searching for her before the school called him that day.

According to him, he thought she was at her friend's apartment or something.
With a newborn baby.

So, that ain't why SC didn't go pick up his son.
I think he was busy doing other things, and completely forgot all about him.

On that point, we're agreed.

JMO.
He went to Verizon. He isn’t involved. Goodnight.

Also, for those in TX: do some hospitals require paternity testing a few weeks after the birth, if the parents are not married?
require? no. But it is encouraged if you suspect that you aren't sure who the father is. The sooner the better (for legal paternity reasons).

What really bothers me is that it is just too neat. It seems staged. In an apartment complex that size there is always someone around. Maintenance guys are all over the complex at the beginning of their day picking up garbage, going to a called in maintenance order, etc., and no one saw anything? People are going to work or coming back in from the night shift. Apartment complexes are the quietest at the dinner hour and that would be just after dark. People would be eating dinner, watching the news, maybe having a relaxing drink, or cooking. The only thing anyone would would notice would be something out of the norm. No one would pay any attention to Shane at the dumpster because he lived there and it would be normal for him to take out the garbage.

We are to believe a woman and a newborn baby were abducted in broad daylight and no one heard or saw anything or a woman out walking with a newborn?

It all seems absolutely staged to me.

She would still need car seat, baby supplies, postpartum supplies, and probably her purse & house keys.

I think that's only crazy to someone who hasn't followed cases like this for long. He didn't just laugh at something or smile once. It was repeatedly. And it's not seen in these cases where someone is innocent. So it's disturbing for many of us to see here.

Could it just be a strange affect or unique person or just how they handle things? Yes. Anything is possible.

But when coupled with many other things, the various anomalies of this case start to add up.

People made the exact same arguments with Chris Watts. Precise. And he didn't laugh or smile as much as this guy. (Although to be fair, this guy does cry and CW never did).

This is really like deja vu. We had the same debates on that thread. We've had them on so many.

Could this be the first case I've seen of an innocent man breaking out into wide, gleeful smiles? Mirthful smirks? Chuckles, laughter and guffaws when he has no idea where his precious newborn baby and wife to be are?

It's possible.

"Duping delight" is the name Meyer gives to the phenomenon of someone smiling inappropriately due to the gravity of the question being asked of them.
A fraud expert reveals 4 body language 'hotspots' that show if someone is lying

Facial Expressions: Twitchy Eyes and Lip Movements
A disingenuous smile is another indicator of a lie, according to Brown. "Duper's Delight," for example, happens when someone smiles at an inappropriate moment, like when they have just been caught in a lie.
Hand Gestures: Too Much Touching
In uncomfortable situations, adults try to comfort themselves (somebody has to, right?). To do so, they'll touch their mouth, eyes, ears, and nose to alleviate their sense of stress or worry.
You might even notice that a suspected liar begins to scratch himself. "Stress negatively affects nerve endings, which causes people to feel itchy," says Wood. The eyes, nose, ears, and mouth have the most nerve endings, so they are often the first areas for which someone may reach.
Fidgety Feet: Twisting, Tapping, and More
Last but not least, fidgety feet are a major indicator of guilt. "We have the least control over our feet," Brown says. "When people are answering tough questions and are on the spot, they'll look like they're rocking."
Body Language Experts Share the Sneaky Signs That Your Partner Is Lying - How to Tell If Someone Is Lying
It's so strange, because right after Chris' first interview- I sensed evil- real bad evil, from him. Right off the bat. I had absolutely no doubts about him what so ever harming Shannon and his beautiful children. I couldn't follow the case after, it affected me that bad.

I know I was wrong about the guy in SP's case- I admit, I was hoping he was a hero, getting her away from her evil step father (and her evil mother, too, in my eyes). So, sometimes my vibes are off, know what I mean?

This time I am totally bewildered- common sense tells me he's guilty, but my heart isn't lining up with my head. What's wrong with me, lol?

How about the fact that the baby IS a new sister - to his son?

You said you watched an hour of video and something about personal pronouns and being strange. I expected you to have way more examples than “sister” and “women”.

There are way more examples, I just dont feel like watching the videos all over again to be more specific but you can do that.

People could have heard or seen any number of things. They just aren’t giving interviews and LE isn’t saying. It will come out eventually.

I wonder if she called for an Uber/Lyft to somewhere?
I'm sure there are records of that, and it would show up in their searches,of electronic footprints, and thusly they would say that.

Sometimes what is the most obvious turns out to be the most obvious - as I’ve said over and over they need to check the dumpsters IMO
There is way too much missing in the timeline - I’m not accusing anyone but I do not believe she is in hiding or has PPD - I think she met with foul play they are both dead and someone(s) knows exactly what happened - I’m going on record 72 hours and we will have an arrest

I can think of several ways around that--she knew that wherever she was going, they'd have what she needed. She was going to buy some more when she got to wherever she was going. Or might have had a small bag with the bare necessities, or shoved some stuff in her pockets, or something.

my hubs wears one when he needs a hair cut, doesn’t want to show off his shaggy mess.
We women, too. Remember baseball caps with "I'm having a bad hair day" embroidered on them? Someone made a fortune after realizing that so many of us slapped on one of those and it was suddenly stylish! Yay! I still do that - put the ponytail through the opening in the back of the cap and I can do makeup in the car (or no makeup, but sunglasses and earrings) and look somewhat put together for errands, lol.
