They kept the charges of capital murder of HB and kidnapping of Margot separate in the indictments, but I was talking about the charge re the kidnapping of Heidi. I understand they don’t need to find her guilty of kidnapping if they find her guilty of murder. I was just surprised they weren’t separate in the unlikely event a jury believes she’s guilty of kidnapping Heidi but not guilty of murder. Not that I think they’ll have any doubt as to MF’s guilt, but I thought DA’s typically separate charges whenever possible to cover their bases in case one of the charges goes South. That’s all.

It would be rare in a capital case to give a lesser charge. My guess is the capital charge is to force a life sentence before trial.

Elite FBI team helps find missing children
When a mother and her newborn were kidnapped in Austin last year, one of the agencies credited with finding the baby alive in Houston was the FBI's Child Abduction Rapid Deployment, or CARD team.

It's an elite team dedicated to finding missing kids. They bring with them the full resources of the FBI, which means looking at everything from social media and cell phone activity to behavior analysis.

This case made me more aware of this baby hijacking phenomenon. Maybe others like the potential victim here are too. That would be a good way to honor Heidi's memory. In this case the would be abductor brought along her 16 year old daughter. The daughter may want to check her DNA.

I believe you misread the article. It does not state another unnamed individual was arrested -- says they were questioned. Big difference. IMO, that person was probably the homeowner Fieramusca lived with. MOO

Was probably when they first accosted the accused's boyfriend who was also living at the house where Baby M was found. I think 'arrested' only means taken in for questioning (where the person doesn't have a choice), and can be held for x many hours, etc, without any charges ever being laid. I doubt if they did all of that interviewing/questioning of that individual in the parking lot of the store in which police located him purchasing baby formula and etc. imo.

Now that's the question we've discussed quite recently. To date LE hasn't confirmed nor denied this. Personally, I think MF was alone but that's JMO.

Fieramusca was set to appear in a Travis County court on Wednesday, March 11. However, KVUE learned Sunday that her court appearance is expected to be moved back to the week of March 23.
