U ow b do they know he was a witness to a homicide? What exactly are the circumstances es surrounding this?

I see Dr. Derrick is handling this UID's case :) (we know her from "Smurfette's" and some other cases here. She has been responsive to websleuth's members' questions, submittals for comparison, etc.)

I think it meant that his murder was witnessed but the witness didn’t know who he was.
