TX TX - Houston, *GRAPHIC*, suicide, Wht/Hsp Male, 13-19, UP87935, found dead in bus, Jan'22

Doubtful. This location is a business park (near the city center) where it's most likely a shuttle-type bus. JMO
The Google Street View linked above in a post by ralyla shows multiple "party buses" scattered throughout the lot. I'd be willing to bet that the company associated with them was [at best] running on fumes thanks to COVID (if not out of business entirely). They also may have be repo'd and in storage at that location.

I wonder if the UID may have committed suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning? Don't necessarily need the keys to a bus in order to start it. Run a hose from the exhaust and close everything tight. Would also explain how somebody may have noticed him, called EMS.... then he's found alive but unresponsive (already past the point of no return with brain damage). Apologies if I'm overlooked something obvious that rules this out.

ETA:

If you go to the Google Street view linked above - rotate your view 180* - Between the black party bus and the white box truck - There's a big orange hose coiled up and hanging on the fence.

ETA2:

After a little research - There are a frightening number of ways one can ACCIDENTALLY die from carbon monoxide poisoning inside a vehicle that IS NOT running in an enclosed space (or even running at all in some cases).

im not exactly sure but my theory is that he was found by a passerby. people were known to loiter in and around the bus so it wouldn't have taken long for him to be found. i would assume by a homeless individual or someone along those lines.
Wasn't he alive when they found him because they took him to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead?

Following. It's a teen, for sure.
He's not a teen, he looks about 20 in these pics. From his skin alone, I can tell that he's deffo not a teen or another thought is that from the lips which are discoloured and slightly stained teeth, he was on some heavy drugs. This explains the loss of weight as he looks super gaunt looking coupled with the fact that his hygiene must've been kind of poor, my reasoning for that is the fact that his pores look really big, he has wrinkles in his nasolabial folds region too - direct effects of not washing your face but could've also been from the substantial weight loss too so idk

Off topic but whenever i see suicide victims it breaks my heart ngl, he was a living person once and now just "the body" and no one to claim him either, so sad ugh.

The pics are from here, i believe they're post mortem pics because they don't look like reconstructions The Unidentified Project | estimated, description, agency, number, #up87935, color, contact, namus, decedent, facial, up87935, black, found, white, sides, socks, age, hair, case, with

I don't think he hung himself because he was found alive. when someone hangs themself they are dead within about 30ish seconds to 1 minute. basically, when they stop moving they are already gone in most cases. if he was still moving they would have been able to save him and I assume he wasn't moving when they found him. plus- buses usually aren't tall enough for someone to hang themselves from the top of, regardless of the young man's height. My best guess is that he had slit his throat. I'm not discussing this as fact, just speculation. he wasn't bleeding in the PM, so there's a chance I'm very much wrong, but he could have been cleaned before the photo so it wouldn't be so graphic for anyone trying to identify their son/brother/friend- etc.
He unfortunately did :( you can literally see the bruising on his neck. The coroners report: IFS - Institute of Forensic Sciences just add in the extra details on the website. Its so sad when a life tragically ends, he was so young as well, had so much to look forward to

there was speculation about the fake black shirt photoshopped on him. maybe the hanging bruising was super graphic

The Houston medical examiner normally photoshops black shirts onto unidentified persons to prevent showing extra skin. I respect them a lot for going out of their way and doing that.

Literally, it has to be because he looks like his final moments were painful, i feel for him honestly. In the second pic they literally scribbled that area out, how does that even help though? There could be possible moles/birth marks or something to help him be identified in that area

I feel like he was local, especially with the newly done haircut. I wonder if they contacted any barbers in the area to see if they had recently done his exact haircut with the star on it?

Some others on fb said the same thing, someone even found a barber from the area that had a past client up on their page with the same star but didn't contact anyone because its the "polices job", i get that but she didn't report it either so how's anyone supposed to follow up with it..

I am also guessing that they placed the photoshop due to when someone comes in they do so many procedures and such. There could have been leads, bruising from CPR (which was what I was thinking with the open mouth for breathing tube) but mostly for the person's dignity.

yes, it seems like the decent thing to do.

I was browsing Namus and there was a john doe from Puerto Rico with a clear bullet wound to the head in his morgue photo, don't think they care about being graphic.

oh no... i feel awful. its so sad that he was still very young when he passed. i wish we didnt have to be looking for his name right now, but we can try our best to match him to a (hopefully) loving family. someone has gotta know him. are these recent or did i just miss them?

I noticed that UID #ML22-0168 Case Status was recently updated and NOK Relationship now reports "County Burial," Report Completed, and Ready for Transport.

So im looking back at the description of this case, on the website these are the details of what he was wearing
- black "Adidas" brand athletic pants with white stripes down leg -teal boxer-style underwear -black socks -short white socks with "H-TOWN" written along the top in red and blue -black high top sneaker size 6.5
I feel like he was super up to date with trends, namus should actually giving brand names like if the sneakers were jordans or what. Anyway im actually curious about the h town socks so i looked it up and found this pic. H town is the houston astros, lmfao he was a supporter therefore thats what the star hair fade is about. He was from Houston then. If he was a runaway and from Houston, why would he runaway so close to home? Wouldn't loved ones eventually find him??

He could be a big Astros fan. Or he could just be reppin the H-town ;)

That's what we called it when I lived there in the 90s. We pretty much said it tongue in cheek but it's a real thing.
