This, combined with the "in ill health" info and the malnutrition and osteopenia makes me wonder if she was bulimic?

It doesn't necessarily mean that she had any kind of mental issues associated: I have a deformity of my skull bones (called a Chiari malformation) that I only founf out about after age 30 when I had been getting worse and worse headaches because my brain was actually being squeezed out of the opening to my spinal column. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with mental abilities (I was able to earn a BS in Cell and Molecular Biology).

Also, although it isn't related to my skull issue, I am only 4'11" , but that doesn't mean I was in any way malnourished growing up, it means that neither my mother nor my father's mother ever reached 5 feet tall either ;-)

I most definitely didn't mean to imply there was a mental issue involved. The description sounded purely physical to me (and your brain problem sounds really gross -- I assume they were able to fix it?).

It wouldn't surprise me if the girl's stature turned out to be mostly genetics, as in your case. Just wish we could find who she is...

A software program analyzing the hereditary "landmarks" on her bones determined she was probably of mixed, white and black, ancestry.

...The evidence does suggest the girl may have lived a life of poverty or illness. Growth-arrest lines in her thigh bones indicate she may have been malnourished, or ill, as a child. The fact that she had dental work, but more recent tooth decay, suggests a lifestyle change.

The crowns of teeth 3 and 14 have been destroyed by caries and the alveoli show signs of associated infection. The base of the crown and the roots are in situ. Teeth 1-2, 16-17, and 32 have been removed and the alveoli healed or the teeth did not develop

With that information, I'm starting to wonder if this girl was reported missing yet. If her teeth looked decades older than she was then that makes me think drugs. After browsing dental and bulimia-help/info websites it takes at least a year to become noticeable.

So I know that teeth 1, 16, 17, and 32 are wisdom teeth. But is it common for someone to not have tooth #2 or was that probably removed/rotted away?

Age is off, three years older than maximum age of doe, she is not biracial, and given the timeline she was missing for over a year when the doe was found and only a 3 week postmortem interval was given. I cannot find too much info on her so I'm not sure if it is possible that she was a drug user and got sucked back into the drug world??

The most interesting part is that she was epileptic and was taking medication for it and upon researching drugs for epilepsy I learned that if taken long enough Can effect bone mineral density.

In regard to tooth #2, since she had some fillings I can only assume that tooth #2 was pulled. She probably needed a root canal which can be very expensive especially if she wasn't insured, it is much cheaper to just have it pulled. I can't imagine leaving it in until it rots away, a tooth in need of a root canal is extremely painful.
