Are we looking for a light-skinned or dark-skinned girl? I have a list of 36 girls who I think are possible matches, and knowing what skin tone Smurfette had would let me eliminate at least 10 or 15 of them.

I dont think skin tone will help eliminate any since we aren't exactly sure if smurfette is black or white, or a mixture of the two, you need to focus on the bridge of her nose, look for a strong chin, fairly large eyes and determine whether or not a prominent overbite is present. Ah okay, thanks. I saw your post from a few days ago when you said that there were still some fleshy areas on the body, so I thought that maybe the people who examined it could tell whether Smurfette was light- or dark-skinned.

Ah okay, thanks. I saw your post from a few days ago when you said that there were still some fleshy areas on the body, so I thought that maybe the people who examined it could tell whether Smurfette was light- or dark-skinned.

I'd imagine once a body has started decomposing and chemicals of the body are being broke down the skin starts to change colors, I would imagine this process happens rather quickly especially with the weather we have in the area.

If I had to guess, I would agree that she is most likely of mixed race, and probably had a lighter complexion.

Elizabeth Flores. Her age, height, hair color, and area last seen (Harris County, where the body was found) are good. Her hair also seems to be shoulder-length. Date last seen was January 26th, 2012. I know she is listed as Hispanic, but I'm adding her here anyway because of the similarities and the fact that being listed as Hispanic doesn't necessarily mean she isn't white.

Jennifer Poindexter. Her age, height, race, hair color, date last seen, and area last seen are all good. She is listed as having a small build, just like Smurfette. She went missing a little less than 3 months before Smurfette's estimated time of death. She was last seen 27 minutes from Houston (where the body was found) and she is listed as possibly being with her boyfriend, who lives in Houston.

I'm calling Dr. Derrick; there are a lot of similarities between Smurfette and both Jennifer Poindexter and Elizabeth Flores.
