So I was unable to find any sort of news on this case, except for a post on Facebook from Ed Gonzalez, the Sheriff of Harris County but I'm not sure about linking to a Facebook post

It seems so bizarre that this is all that was posted about the incident, then again that same day there was a fatal shooting in the same area so its possible this is an area where things like this aren't terribly uncommon.

I work on this side of town, sadly it’s not very uncommon. The alligators add a twist to it but there are quite a few shootings over here, occasional body as well.
