He's a tiny guy at 4'10" and 86lbs! I have to agree that he does look possibly Hispanic. This one breaks my heart as his stature and some facial aspects remind me of my FIL.
I’m pretty sure just based off of the adult diaper he was disabled. That would explain his size.

The pants may be a boy's Large.
That’s what I was thinking. I’m 5’2” 105 lbs and I can easily fit into a youth XL or XXL. Sometimes even as small as an L.

They’ve determined he was Hispanic and mixed with another uncertain race.
On NamUs, 'multiple' doesn't actually mean they know the UID is mixed race*. It means there are multiple races the UID could be, so they list all the options. That's why I listed more options.
*unless they've done a DNA phenotype test, which is rare.

This strikes me as someone who succumbed to a terminal disease while in the care of family, too poor and/or undocumented to seek medical or mortuary services. I would assume there would have been an autopsy and cause of death established but I'm not seeing it.

This case is ripe for genetic genealogy and I hope Harris County, which if memory serves is very forward-looking and open to that, reaches out and lines it up in this case.

Ahhh! That makes more sense. I do wonder why some races are listed along with “uncertain”. Do they think he’s most likely Hispanic but they’re unsure?

yep, thats what it seems like :) LE will also use cues based on location; he was found in Texas, which has a large Hispanic population. Doesn't rule out other possibilities, though. I don't think pinpointing ethnicity will help a whole lot because I agree w/ other commentors that he was likely dumped by family/caretakers and was likely not reported missing.

That’s what I think too. They just got tired of taking care of him. Maybe he died naturally because of his medical problems and the family disposed of the body this way? I’m thinking if he is Hispanic his family may be here illegally (if they were the ones caring for him) and they were too afraid to report him missing or report his death in fear of deportation. Sad case.
