Deputies led to burn pile containing human remains in search for juvenile, Liberty County officials say

Victim may possibly be juvenile half-brother of one of the men arrested.
Authorities tipped off by a family member of the juvenile who had been reported missing a week earlier.

so apparently, there was a disturbance there last year where cates shot someone then the person pistol whipped and injured him. wonder if it was the same person, or this fam has some issues.

i wonder if it will be super long until the ID. in the Psycho Baroz case, they still havent been able to positively ID one of the victims even though they are pretty sure who it is.

There were two women at the home at the time of the incident – <KA> , 19, of Tomball, and a friend of Cates, and <AR>, 32, of Dayton, and a friend of Patterson. <AR>, coincidentally, is one of the survivors of the Aug. 17 shooting in Dayton where three people were killed.

2 men, 1 woman charged in connection to death of missing juvenile, burning human remains, Liberty County officials say

According to info in the link above, a woman arrested in the investigation of the burn pile murder is the same KA, Kathryn Alexander, mentioned in the earlier linked story, HERE. Apparently KA was also present at an earlier altercation in September 2020 at the same location, Cates’ cabin, of this grisly burn pile discovery this week.
