Those VHS screencaps that Blogger blog posted look a lot like Our Girl.

The Namus ruleouts list is not complete. You'll need to go back to the old thread and search on the names to find out whether many of the older cases were ruled out.

Yikes, heavy sigh. New threads are NOT my favorite thing.

I don't like it either because everything was in one place.
In regards to the posts at the end of the original thread, Rebekah Home made the girls wear skirts or dresses. Not one girl I saw in videos was wearing jeans. There is also an article that says it was closed down due to legal action against it at the time WCJD was killed.

I went and looked at my notes because my computer is in pieces until a new part arrives. Rebekah Home was shut down in the summer of 1979.

The skirts rule doesn't say anything about what she would have worn when she was away from the home, or after she left it.

Yes I just googled and looked online , there are a few girls outside in jeans in some of the pics FYI

It's possible she could have been there at some point but it was still closed down in the summer of 1979 so over a year before she died.

I tried to raise interest in WCJD elsewhere but there was a bad reaction from some because WCJD is a young female victim and I'm male.

That's sad.

I finally have my computer fixed so here are some articles on Rebekah house:

This one talks about it being closed but it was operated by a different group called People's Baptist Church which sounds like one of the cults (wasn't that the name of Jim Jones' church?) Sulphur Springs News-Telegram (Sulphur Springs, Tex.), Vol. 103, No. 145, Ed. 1 Friday, June 19, 1981

We have discussed the possibility of her living a more transient lifestyle...moving for work etc. but I don't know that I have thought much about the possibility of being a military family. I do know that the Naval Air Station in Beeville (Corpus/Aransas area) was very active at the time. I wonder if her father could have been in the Navy? If so did they have schools there available for the families or did they attend public school primarily. Beeville is also where "Kathy/Kathleen" was photo'd at the hotel. Has there been any investigating of Beeville area schools that we know of?
