Heels? She was wearing heels? I know I've probably read this but its just sinking in now. I'm sorry but no girl is going to just go hitch hicking to a prison wearing heels.
Are we sure this was where she was actually headed? Maybe she was out drinking with her boyfriend amd he got picked up and she was actually looking for the jail?

I always figured she was meeting somebody who worked there who was getting off his/her shift, or something like that.

Carl is at it again tweaking WCJD's recon so be sure to check her album. He is very determined that she get her identity back! A few changes were that he made the scar next to her right eye more noticeable; gave her more of a smile as well as adjusted her necklace charm. Still Seek Answers is going to try to get clarification of the charm as photos do not depict a stone, yet Doe Net says there was a smokey blue stone there. I feel Doe Net got that from somewhere, they are usually pretty good about stuff like this so stay tuned.

Seeing as how WCJD was headed north on I-45, and that she was at least familiar enough with the Aransas Pass/Rockport area to come up with that city (even if it was a lie), I figured that she most likely would have been from somewhere in the Texas Gulf Coast or Houston areas.

So I went through the yearbook collection in Classmates.com and found every available 1979 and 1980 HS yearbook for high schools in the counties marked red on the map below. I looked very carefully through every student portrait in all 79 books. There were a few interesting possibles, but most of them I was able to verify that they were alive after 1980.

I didn't get into the Harris and Fort Bend County schools yet. But that's my next project. LOL.

Don't know why-Carl-but i'm thinking Fort Bend County-Mark Roland Stallings(Texas Killing Fields murders- remains a top suspect in at least two killings there.

I read somewhere state that the Texas Killing field murders were all done by same man. Not so-from what i've read-police det. now believe there was more than one killer.
I was reading about the Texas Killing Fields murders-that happened in and around that Fort Bend area..
Mark Stallings is one serial killer from thata rea who confessed to many of the Texas Killing Fields murders. He tortured and strangled many of the young women-victims there so resembled in all ways-our WCJD.! Stallings was an older man who drove a black pickup. He was a "fatherly type looking man" as some accounts stated of him who fooled many of his young women victims(some were hitchhikers/a few waitresses), into a false sense of security when he stopped to offer them a ride. Though Huntsville is north of the areas of Texas Killing Fields-it was still on the I-45 highway...where all victims were originally seen or found. It was 6:30pm at night when WJD was last seen at the restaurant-Oct. 31st, and dark by then. She could've easily been picked up-and few even noticed by who.
I noticed some internet sites on the Texas Killing Fields don't all include WCJD as one of the Jne Doe victims(there are others)-some do, some don't-liitle is said on those that do.
Texas Killing Fields was featured recently on ID discovery channel-
I wonder who her friend was who was at Ellis Prsin? Mark St

Spent the last few days reading all your posts... Wow what a great job you all have done! You should all be very proud of yourselves. I just had a few things that are just some basic thoughts.
I am from Texas but not that area. Regarding her clothing, I don't think she had hitched from far away especially wearing heals. She may have been 17 or 18 and lived in her own apartment somewhere near by and thus might not have had anyone to report her missing. Waitress said she was dropped off but had no purse or backpack? Maybe waitress was mistaken and the guy in the car just dropped her at the door and pulled around the side or pulled up to get gas. A lot of the old gas stations had restrooms outside around the side or water and air pumps on the side. I'm just thinking this is possible because at 17 I was living with my boyfriend and several of my friends did as well. Some of my friends were given to grandparents to raise that were pretty elderly and not very involved. Maybe she just didn't have anyone to report her missing. An apartment manager might have just thought she ran out on the rent. A live in boyfriend would not report her missing but likely tell people she just moved. She and this male could have lived in the Aransas Pass area and driven down to visit or pick someone up from the prison. Waitress said she appeared disheveled like she had been sleeping ( if I remember correctly). She was likely in this mans car for several hours. I just don't think she was at that time hitching if she had no personal belongings and was carrying her shoes. That doesn't make sense to me... More like she was sleeping in the car and just ran in for directions.
Also when I look at the black and white PM pics I see that she could be Hispanic ( dark hair and eye brows) but in the color versions she looks white and hair color is not black or dark brown. Is the color off maybe on these photos?? I think the pics done by Carl look very accurate to me if I look at the color versions of the PM pics. But I can't help but think she is a few years older than 14.

Also I have a page on Facebook called Missing in Texas I am going to start posting her case on. ( not sure if I'm allowed to post that but will remove if not allowed). I know 2 people that are missing and this is the reason I created the page.. I guess to feel like I'm helping in some way.
