The Bexar County Sheriff's office is searching for a mother of two they said vanished nearly three weeks ago.

Ireeshia Carter disappeared after tucking her children into bed on December 11.

Carter recently moved to the San Antonio area from Alabama and was living with her mother in the 9100 block of Hogarten Park, the last place she was seen.

Carter's family said they haven't had any contact with her since her disappearance and fear that she might be in danger.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Bexar County Sheriff's Office at 335-6000.

There is a young woman of her height, race, age, and town of residence (former) that has a lengthy felony criminal history going back 5 years, and who was recently was released from prison. If this is her, her mother likely has been raising her children all along. Here's hoping she just realized they were safer there and walked away.
