Florsheim still makes shoes to this day, and they seem to be rather expensive. Though he could have bought them used, thrift stores or were hand me downs.

Cases like this always make me think about just what we might walk/drive past every day without even knowing it.
This poor man was found in tall grass on the side of a highway that was likely driven by thousands (or tens of thousands) of cars each day. Who knows where else there are people still out there to be found, and hopefully one day identified.
