Any word on if they are digging yet? I hope they find that poor baby...and that the older baby ends up in a home where he can thrive.

I think I am a little confused...

Do the Farreys have 3 autos?
1.) Dodge Charger located in Mich.
2.) White truck
3.) Jenna's Camaro...

While a lot of things baffle me about this case. I keep going back to one question in particular and that is why the Army's special investigations team (for the Air Force it is OSI, not sure about Army, sorry) didn't get wind of the previous issues. My husband is OSI and they work closely with the local LE. Here, at least, the LE would have most certainly informed OSI of every detail and every occurance. Not sure if earlier military intervention could have prevented anything or helped get those children taken away from their situation (going to ask my hubs that one) but it is just something that seems strange to me I guess. Anywho, prayers for Jackson ... not looking good ... sigh. :(

I think they are called ISD. They have to be reported to have them look into it, and maybe since El Paso is a big base, slipped the cracks...

Can anyone familiar with military life explain AWOL, dishonorable discharge and Court Martial(is that correct?) to this civilian?

Does the military take over the investigation in Jeff's case?

I can try. As of right now Jeff is not charged with anything (that I know of) in the civilian sector so yes the military has his case right now becuase he is charged with being Absent WithOut Leave (AWOL) which is not a civilian crime but a military crime. AWOL is basically dissertion and the punishment depends on what comes out at the court martial which is basically a trial but all done militarilly. Dishonorable dischage is one of the punishments and the person is forced to discharge from service (basically kicked out of service) but dishonorably, therefore leaving on bad terms. That can effect employment after the service as well as ensure they get no veterans benefits. Honorable discharge is leaving on good terms of course.

That is very basic but I hope it helps!?

Selfies all over her FB, Selfies all over her IG acct, multiple dating website profiles (including a Sugardaddy site)...while MARRIED, endangerment charges based on leaving her baby home alone so she can shop and party and a handful of YouTube videos gabbing about herself. I would say she's more than self centered. Very Casey Anthony like.

Even more blatant then Casey Anthony?? If that's possible. Scarey... IMO This is more than just immaturity and being self centered and into the realm of a psychiatric disorder.

Here is some that I located:

(1) In the vast majority of cases, if a member has a clean record otherwise, and is absence for less than 30 days and voluntarily returns, they are allowed to remain in the military. Such usually receive Article 15 punishment.

(2) If a member is absent for more than 30 days, but less than 180 days, and returns to the military voluntarily, it could go either way. If there was a "reasonable" explanation for the absence (such as severe family, financial, or emotional problems), and the commander thinks the member has future potential, the commander could elect to allow the member to remain in the military. Otherwise, an administrative discharge is the most likely scenario (possibly combined with Article 15 punishment).

I just wanted to comment that a lot of focus is going towards the mom but in my opinion just because the father isn't all over the internet doesn't mean he is much better, just less out there to hang him by. They are both equals in any crimes they have committed with this child in my honest opinion. I hope they are turning on each other and the truth will come out. I know we don't know much yet but it seems clear that these children should have never been with this "monster" as her facebook handle elegantly names her. Makes me sick to my stomach to think of a helpless baby being home alone for 8 hours. If she was that cold to leave her child home for 8 hours instead of handling his every need then I can't even imagine what else was going on behind closed doors. The bed thing doesn't phase me at all because I could possibly see co-sleeping and the father possibly sleeping on the sofa. But the glimpse we do see into her life from facebook and the media reports really turns my stomach for these children. How very sad for the babies. I just hope the baby is found alive in this mess.

Agreed. Army is CID. My husband is a DoD police officer ( currently army but was AF before) so he is around them daily at the. PD. I too am wondering how all of this went under the radar. Or, maybe it didn't and that is why after only missing one day at work his CoC called the local police to do a welfare check.

I wonder what their families think of all this?

  • #233
And the CID guys my husband works with are for the entire region and someone affiliated with the military has to at least look into it (I'm assuming) and escort them back to Bliss. At least I think that's how it works. And his CoC had to have been familiar with all this. Even just talking to mys husband he says that if his chain of command was clueless, then someone at the Muni PD or CPS dropped the ball somewhere. :-(

Here is another FB page for Jenna, different last name but lots of the same pictures on both profiles and photos of same tattoo. This one has more recent activity, but no mention or pictures of hubby and kids :/

Jenna looks pretty good in these pics for having a child missing. The necklace she is wearing does not look like junk. Wonder if there was a baby sale!?

Any info on how LE were tipped off as to where the family was located? thanks.

I found one connection the family had to Michigan. Jenna has a Whitetail Applepiecamp listed as a recently added fb friend. This camp place is right on the lake and 3.5 hours from Escanaba Michigan where the Farreys minus baby were found.

All of her social media accounts are on par with a 15 year old girl not an adult woman with two infants. Her last photo posted was nov 12 or 13 (last Tuesday/Wednesday) and they went missing over the weekend, correct? So perhaps nothing had happened to the baby when she was busy taking selfies of her bony grenade tattoo.

Seriously, this is a case of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" when it comes to having children.

Jenna (not THAT Jenna)

I have never seen somebody with so much interest in taking self pics and posting them. I've only seen teens do this, and certainly not a woman with two kids. It looks there's not much behind the makeup. Kind of a blank look.

A few points:
-Looking for a Jody (a boyfriend for while her husband is deployed) isn't remotely the same as killing an infant. People cheat. And that's assuming they didn't have some sort of arrangement. They could have gotten married for housing/benefit reasons and aren't exclusive.

-The father will not have the same rights as a civilian when he is being interrogated by military authorities.

-I'm praying the baby was left with someone.

-The mother is 20. Of course she's posting selfies. That's what 20 year olds do.
