Jacob Jay Villarreal, 24, was last seen on Dawes Avenue in Alton on Dec. 17 at 9:45 p.m.

• Villarreal is described as 5’8″ and 185 pounds.
• He was last seen getting into a white passenger car wearing black basketball shorts and a navy blue shirt.

Alton police identify body found in reservoir as missing man | KVEO-TV

ALTON, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Alton Police Department has identified the body found Tuesday in a reservoir.

Police have identified the victim as Jacob Jay Villarreal, 24. Villarreal had been reported missing by his family on Saturday, Dec. 18, according to a release.

Officials responded to a call regarding an unresponsive person at the Sharyland Water Supply Corporation Reservoir at 6 Mile Lina and Los Ebanos.

This is an ongoing investigation, anyone with information is urged to contact the Alton Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 956-432-0700.

That is sad. No information on what happened. I imagine foul play was involved but guess we have to wait and see.

Could have just been a ride share on somebody's doorbell camera. From the available info it seems like he didn't have anyone very close to him.
