Interesting that the court also added a second chair to his defense. Suprising but I guess he's really going to trial. Finally an update in the court site - but no further court dates yet.

I think I can add some clarification here:
The case was set for trial by jury on 4/3/23 but by defense motion dated 3/23/23, the defense requested a continuance after it received voluminous military & medical records from the federal govt on 3/8/23 pursuant to the defense's request dated Nov 2022.
Defense motioned they needed more time to review and index the records for discovery and also locate military and/or federal govt expert witnesses.
The slip sheet dated 3/24/23 provides that the defense motion for continuance was granted -- prompting jury selection on Friday, July 21, 2023, and the Trial set for Monday, July 24, 2023.
I have to say that I'm surprised that it took DL's defense more than two years to seek his military and medical records after we've long known about his traumatic brain injury and discharge from service.Okay - thanks for the explanation! You are SO good at explaining things!![]()
^^rsbmI notice that the Docket sheet said 7/24/23 but the court site has 7/21/23. Now wondering if jury selection starts on 7/21/23 & the trial on 7/24?
