My late mother was best friends with Jayne's adoptive mother, Judy. It might interest folks to know that Jayne was born in Wales. That's where she was adopted from. I know nothing other than that about her life prior to being adopted.
This case has always interested me because I knew Jayne, although we were not close, and Judy used to keep my mom updated on the case prior to my mom's death in October, 2000.
I suspect John Allen Davis to be the culprit. From what I remember, Amy Davis dug a new pond on her property about the time that Jayne went missing, so it would not surprise me if Jayne's body were buried underneath that pond. I wonder if that was included in the search areas that the Rangers looked at in 2020.
