I see a Joe V’s on the NW corner of Uvalde and Wallisville Rd.

Yep, that’s the nearest and it’s not near that intersection on the beltway. She should have turned on Wallisville for the most direct route. Taking the beltway to I-10 and then to Uvalde is the long way.

The black spot is where the shooting occured as she crossed that intersection.

Doesn’t really matter what her destination is, wrong place at the wrong time it seems.

Here is a close up of the businesses in the area, the Bank of America is the red dot. Their drive through is on the other side of the building. Hopefully everyone is checking their cameras that point towards the street. Even the northbound side if he exited at Woodforest and went back north.

Also a poster on Twitter yesterday posted a video on Melissa Correa from KHOU feed of a red truck at 742am from her Ring who lives on or near Gene Green. The person dumped something in the neighbors trash. Melissa Tagged Sheriff Gonzales. The video is since gone and the person has since protected their tweets.

Could be a new one. I’ve had two weeks off with the holidays.

Gene Green is the dog park on the northbound side. Lots of apartments there, maybe some houses in the area. That’s a long time between the shooting and the dumping. Almost an hour. If it was him maybe he panicked for awhile before heading back the way he came from. If he’s paid attention to the news he’s probably ditched the beard unless that would make people wonder why he ditched the beard.

Thinking about the beard, I’m not sure he would be a plant worker. When I worked at the chemical plant, plant personal weren’t allowed to have facial hair because they would interfere with a respirator. There are a bunch of pipe yards in the area that wouldn’t have the same criteria and would still possibly do shifts. If I remember right Sunday morning it was chilly and Texans don’t do cold well so he would have had to roll down his window in order to not shoot out his window. Would be interesting to know his precision, were the shots only in her windows? Or in the frame as well? I’ve never shot at a moving target in a moving vehicle but distance wise it’s not that far thinking about it. Figure a lane about 12 feet wide, F250 width is 80”, he’s reaching across, average man’s arm length 25 inches but his body is in drivers seat so probably 1.5 feet of give before the reach. Her car is in the middle of her lane so distance between cars 3 feet or so. I’ll have to diagram it but I’d say roughly six feet between the end of the gun and the inside of her car. (80-18-25+36=73 inches). For a moderately practiced shooter, that’s not a far distance at all.

It was raining that morning. At least on my side of town. So yep Houstonians don’t do cold or rain very well.

I think he also shot the tire per Mom’s interview because her tire was flat, she thought “he must have shot her tire”

This article makes it sound like it was a passenger shooting. If the bullets came in through her window the guy would either have been a passenger or was shooting across the cab of the truck.



What I’m having a hard time imagining is if it wasn’t a passenger is the “continued to fire infront of us”. Unless the guy is just shooting randomly out the passenger window.

That would be so loud, unless he had ear protection on under his hoodie, someone who is suddenly hearing impaired would be a good indication of a suspect.

I'm thinking it had to have been a passenger. Especially if they continued to shoot while in front of her. Unless the back window opened. Otherwise, I think it would be real difficult for a driver to shoot at a vehicle behind him.

We discusssed at work and think the one over in Baytown may be newer, which would work with the path.

I’m hoping he was a passenger, maybe the driver will turn him in or there is more likelihood for talk if there is more than one of them.

Looking at red trucks on my way into work, there are a bunch of them. Hopefully they get some clearer footage soon now that everyone is returning to normal hours, otherwise it seems to be a needle in a haystack. In my 17 mile commute I probably saw 30 or so between driving and in the parking lots.

I’m not discounting a couple of guys doing drugs all night and deciding to go terrorize people. My community is broadcasting it, hoping someone will say something.

Then he must have continued firing rounds into the air out the passenger window. Our other truck is a crew cab too. There is no easy way to fire out the back window when you are driving unless it isn’t there, which I guess is possible. Our red truck has little window in the back, the newer one the whole window comes down I think...

I think saying the truck color, gun type and facial hair don't match is a pretty weak reason not to connect 2 otherwise similar cases.

Facial hair isn't forever. People own more than one gun. People also own more than one vehicle, borrow vehicles or buy a different one.

BBM Yeh, I was thinking the same thing. It would even make sense, if it's the same guy, for him to get rid of his previous truck and gun after the first incident and buy new ones.

I hope they find the guy soon, and I hope he's the same perp that shot the man in the other case. That way, two cases will be solved.

I hope those girls and their mama get well quickly. My heart goes out to them.
