I wonder why she had TX plates? Had she just moved to the area? If so, why?

What else would she have? I am not in US or a driver, so clueless on this! But she DID live in Texas, so presumably she would have Texas plate, no?

Oh geez. I completely missed that. I just saw the town name and wrongly assumed it was in Louisiana. So sorry!!

I'm curious - was the "phone message" a text or a voice mail?

Was the friend whose house she was staying at on 11/7 the same friend who got the phone message on 11/8 - or were these two different friends?

The phone message seems important. Was it a text, in which it could be anybody using her phone? Or was it a voicemail with her recorded voice? Let's hope for the best and that she is found safe.

Found deceased.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - A woman who had been missing for a week was found in a creek on Sunday by some duck hunters.

Jennifer Reppond, 42, from Etoile, was found Sunday afternoon inside her vehicle on FM 226 at Moss Creek.

Sheriff Jason Bridges said he received a phone call around 4 p.m. Sunday after three teenage boys who were duck hunting came upon a white SUV that was down in the creek.

Oh that's so sad. RIP Jennifer.

I wonder if she had a medical event that caused her to run off the road, was speeding to get somewhere, an animal in the road - sigh, guess we'll never know.

Looking at the map, I wonder if her SUV just went right over the low concrete of the small bridge over Moss Creek?

Well, I'll say honestly that I'm quite surprised she didn't survive.
It doesn't look too far down to the creek and she was in a big Chevy Tahoe. You'd think that would protect her a lot.

RIP Jennifer.
