The Waco Police Department is trying to locate a missing 64-year-old man. They said Jerry Pate went missing on Tuesday around 1:30 a.m. in the 500 block of N. 38th St.

He was wearing a blue cap, blue jeans and a black shirt.

His caregiver told police that he takes several prescriptions daily for medical and mental reasons. He also left the residence on foot without any money or his prescription glasses.

He is described as a "passive" individual but can become confused without his medications. He also went missing in 2015 after becoming disoriented.

He has also been known to frequent the area hospitals. He is not supposed to smoke due to a medical condition but will try to get cigarettes anywhere he can.

A Waco man missing since early Tuesday morning has been found safe and sound.
