They are saying they won't give interviews.

Part of "moving on" is going forward with getting the help they need and taking care of each other.

They don't need to put themselves out in the public eye.

That does not mean they are just pretending it never happened or that they expect it to go away.
They are not CURED.

Nothing about this will be easy.

JMO of course.

I was referring to a post upthread in which a poster claimed it was perfectly ok to let a 4 year old child just forget it happened and move along swimmingly and it would have no repercussions.

Last night, I heard the 911 call on Nancy Grace, and the father was very concerned that the perp would die. He briefly mentioned that he caught the guy molesting his daughter, and the rest of the call was begging them to hurry so Flores wouldn't die. His family even performed CPR while they waited for EMS to arrive. I have a feeling that, at 47, Flores may not have been in the best of health. The shock of being caught "in the act", along with the physical altercation with the girl's father, may have caused heart problems that hastened his demise. There was nothing in the father's tone of voice that would lead one to believe that he intended to kill Flores. Instead, he seemed shocked and appalled at the idea that Flores might die.

Considering the autopsy was done, it's not the "heart problems" that killed this guy. He died from blunt force trauma to head and neck. Which is neither here nor there. In TX, this father was allowed to use deadly force, which he did.
It's legal.

A Texas father walked in on his five-year-old daughter being molested and wasted no time in beating the man to death. The grand jury found the dad not guilty due to a state law that allows deadly force to be used to stop an aggravated sexual assault.

The incident occurred June 9th near Shiner, Texas. Someone spotted a farmhand, Jesus Flores carrying the girl into a secluded area and alerted the girl’s father. The concerned parent ran towards his daughters screams and found them both with their underwear off. He flew into a rage and beat Flores into unconsciousness. When he was sure the man was no longer a threat, he called 911 to report on the incident. ”Come on! This guy is going to die on me! I don’t know what to do.” he yelled.

The event was treated as a homicide but the father did not go to jail and will not be charged with a crime.

The person who alerted the father and the father's quick action saved the little girl's life!

The father not being charged - great news!!! :clap::clap:

Unless I'm going mad it was posted on here before, I remember a poll being attached to the thread asking what people thought about whether the father should be charged or not?

I can't imagine it NOT ending up here, yeah, but maybe it got taken down for privacy reasons (e.g., maybe the father's name was proliferating through MSM or something).

The blog certainly frames it as a new story without providing any dates, but there also don't seen to have been any new developments, so I guess it was just so people could go "woohoo!" and drive traffic to them from FB. (Sorry, cynical.)

Ah, that would explain that then. I'll just say here what I said on the other thread - I hope the father and daughter both get the support they need to get over such a horrible experience. And by support, I don't mean people shouting "woo hoo" either - he's beaten a man to death with his bare hands, so unless he's a psychopath himself he'll need help dealing with that, no matter how justified his actions.

I'm actually glad his daughter got to witness her Daddy defend her. Witnessing such violence would have been traumatizing but I think it might help her heal from the violent trauma it came in response to. And then Daddy called 911 to get the pedophile help and gave her another great life example. WOW! Good work Dad!

Even if it is an oldie, it's still a goodie, with a great outcome. I don't mind reading about older crimes 'cause sometimes I miss a few.
