Blattner is described as being 6 feet tall, he weighs 200 pounds and has red hair and brown eyes. Blattner was last seen wearing a dark colored ball cap, a white Sherwin-Williams jacket and grey sweatpants with paint stains.

Round Rock Police said a missing man’s body was found in rural, eastern Williamson County Saturday. John David Blattner, 39, was last seen by family on March 28. Police are treating the case as a homicide.

Couple indicted on capital murder charges

From the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office:
The grand jury for the 368th District Court today concluded an investigation into the homicide of Round Rock resident John Blattner, 39, and indicted Charles Kevin Bowen (dob 8/16/67) and Jennifer Johnson Bowen (dob 5/24/80) each for one count of capital murder and one count of murder. The two defendants are currently married. Blattner is the ex-husband of Jennifer Johnson Bowen.

Perps were just days from going to trial before deciding to plead guilty. I think I read somewhere that they will be eligible for parole after serving half of their sentences. Here is the TES link:
