Franklin, Johnny William- Last seen by family members on Oct. 14, 2008, Franklin was reported missing by his employer on Oct. 21, 2008.

That same day, police found his vehicle located in the parking lot of Liberty Baptist Church at 3009 N. Grand Ave in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.

Police said they saw no signs of foul play, according to reports. In 2009, seven months after Franklins’ disappearance, police searched a wooded area near 29th Street and Palace Avenue, according to the local CBS affiliate. The search came up empty, according to police.

No further information is available about the circumstances of Franklin’s disappearance. He is a black male, 5'9" tall and 150 pounds. He was 53 at the time of his disappearance and would be 65 now. Anyone with information should contact the Tyler Police Department at 903-531-1000.

Details of Disappearance
Franklin was last seen in Tyler, Texas on October 7, 2008. He has never been heard from again. On October 21, his vehicle was found abandoned behind Liberty Baptist Church in the 3000 block of north Grand Avenue. There was no sign of Franklin at the scene and no indication of foul play.

Franklin frequented drug houses prior to his disappearance. He may have taken against his will. His case remains unsolved.
