The FBI has joined in the search. They're checking in with every registered sex offender in the area.

Jonathan's mother said he was home alone while she was at work.

"Sometime between 1:45 and 2:10 p.m., the mother receives a phone call, makes a phone call, and speaks to what she believes is a female with a gruff voice and hears her son's voice in the background," Detective Fil Waters said. "The phone is suddenly hung up."

"I got two phone calls at work," mother Angela Davis said. "My job told me that my son called one time saying it was an emergency, and I never got that call. The second time I got a phone call from my boss. She said that it was a lady, and by the time I got to the phone they hung up."

So many stories - who wants to bet there is no 'zany' ie babysitter. And if he was now alone - who saw him at 1:45 to lead to the reporting he was missing 25 min later?

I have to catch up on all the posts, it may take a while to sort out all the different stories coming out.

Conflicting stories bring be back to Casey Anthony where nothing makes alot of sence. I now fear the worst if all these different stories are coming out.

Did the mother or family wait several hours before calling the police? If the mother got an odd phone call, it seems to me she would immediatly call home and the babysitter and if he was not at either place, the police should of been called right then.

Somthing isnt right. Perhaps that isnt why amber alert wasnt issues, LE knows somthing that points to parents.. and perhaps only issued amber alert after story went nation wide.. the alert was issues while Nancy Grace was on air.. maybe that was just to keep suspision off the parents for the time being from the public so they could investigate the parents without the parents thinking they were a major suspect.

I dont know this is crazy, too many stories. One lie to cover another. I know that whatever airs on television tonight all the producers of NG need to all get some serious questions answered and explained, so IF there is a chance to find him that we all have the correct information as close to the truth as possible.

Did I hear the stepfather right in this video? Something to the effect whatever has happened "it's bad"? Odd statement to make. How or why would someone say that at this point? Don't know if I am making sense. Could someone listen to it and tell me if I heard right?

ETA: So was he ever at the babysitters? I'm so confused.

OK now there were 2 calls.

sounds to me like there were 3.

2 that she received, and then 1 that she made - when she heard the raspy-voiced person and also Jonathan.

Do we know what the SD's job is? Could it be that he was babysitting Jonathan? If he and the mother were separated, but the mom had to work and persuaded him to watch the boy, he might have been angry and resentful about it... and if something happened that day, she could feel guilty and want to cover for the guy... PURE speculation of course. But I do wonder what the guy was up to that day, why he was "dropping by"... none of it makes a shred of sense...

Starting about 1:05:

Det Fil Waters: "Sometime between 1:45 and 2:10, the mother receives a phone call and speaks to an unknown, what she believes was a female with a gruff voice, and um, hears her son's voice in the background. The phone is suddenly hung up."

so many conflicting details.

I wonder what it was that the SD was saying to the mom while she was explaining the phone calls in that last vid you posted?

Yes, you heard him correctly. I agree the chosen words are odd and hinky.....

BUT, to be fair, the interview was done 3 days after Jonathan was missing, with no signs or clues to his wherabouts, with LE saying 'foul play', and with them 'sensing' that Jonathan wasn't a runaway.
I mean.....I know that if MY child were missing for 3 days and I knew he didn't run away.....in my heart I would be saying 'this is bad'. I think the step dad's complete lack of emotion is what bothers me most.....along with the sketchy timeline/stories.

HPD says this pic was taken about 2 weeks ago.

That doesn't look like allergies to me....but I guess it could maybe be.

Yes I had to listen a few times...he says "don't give all the details"

if you heard right, this may be the reason that she didn't mention the raspy-voiced woman and Jonathan's voice.
