Now I want to know how Mom got to and from work. Did the step dad take her in the Mercedes? Did that car stay at home? Did SHE drive it to work?

WHO was in control of THAT car at that time of Jonathan's reported disappearance?

If it is Jonathon, they may have a pretty good idea that it is him, from his overbite.

There may be too much damage to tell.

If someone goes to the trouble to burn a body, in other cases they have also done other things to conceal the identity. Dental records are an obvious identifying feature. So, one would think that you wouldn't want them to be able to use that.

I don't want to go into detail, but I'm sure it would have been possible to prevent that from being an identifying feature if someone was concerned about it.

Sounds like these peeps have had trouble taking care of JF. He's been shuffled around from relative to relative. Anyone know how long this "SD" has been in the picture.

i think they have been married for a year, but mom has had him for about 6 weeks. they have been separated for the last 3 weeks, as best as I can tell from all the media reports. he has lived with gramma and uncle. first with uncle, and then with gramma, and then he wanted to go live with his mom for his birthday.

that sound you hear is me shaking my head... sounds like he had no business with his mama. so sad.

The SD hasn't been in the picture very long, i think i read mom and he married a year ago and the child just went to live with mom and SD 6 weeks ago.

I also read mom and SD were keeping separate residences and had been apart for a couple weeks???? I read it on here though. not in MSM but i think there was a link..

I just joined, but watched this website all night.

I think you are so sharp with your observations. I'm not sure this is our guy, I think it is probably the poor little 4 year old taken by his father, the alleged murderer. But you are so right. The overbite that has been mentioned since the first report, would be a very quick way to start the identifying process going.

GGGRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Volunteer Vehicles Burglarized Outside Church
Some good-hearted volunteers found themselves victims of theft Tuesday morning when their vehicles were burglarized at a church, FOX 26 News has learned.

Those volunteers were helping in the search for a missing 12-year-old boy in the Garden Oaks neighborhood of northwest Houston.

They may not have dental records yet, since he was barely in Texas a month, and the holidays, etc...otherwise I would think the ID could be done fairly quickly that way...

If the mom and/or step father are not involved, it will be a surprise, only due to the seemingly changing of stories...delay in reporting, etc. But I will (try to) keep an open mind...

BBM

You know somedays I think this open mind thing might be part of our problem. It's like in trying to be so perfect we go way to far...KWIM? Sometimes the benefit of a doubt does not need to be given. AAArrrggghhhh...

He has lived in Texas for more than a year. There are dental records.

Wonder if mom and SD "seperated" because of trouble over Jonathan? If they were really seperated that is.......

It's so hard to tell what LE believes based on when the article is publised.
Tuesday, 28 Dec 2010, 1:48 PM CST or 2:48 PM EST. The article was only a half hour old when I read it! :banghead:

WHOA...maybe I missed this earlier, but reading back over your link here: http://www.click2houston.com/news/26298521/detail.html

...this caught my eye..

"Jonathan's mother said he was home alone while she was at work."

HUH??? So he was never at a babysitters? Or maybe she's saying he was home alone while grabbing the game / movie? I'm confused now...more than I was earlier.

IMO There is a darn good reason why his mother didn't raise him and a darn good reason why the uncle is so upset with her. I fear this story is gonna get even more sickening. After 3 weeks living with his mom the SD moves out? SCARY stuff

I cannot fathom a 12 yr old at a sitters, let alone when there is a plethora of available relatives in the same town including the grandmother he had just recently lived with PLUS step dad if she thought he couldn't be trusted alone.
The sitter thing just sounded totally hinkey from the beginning.
