IF LE has talked to the person who received the mysterious call at work to the mother they may also have tried to have them identify if the voice sounded similar to the stepfather's voice. If they have traced the call by now and if the voice did sound like the stepfather's, this case is probably moving along much faster than we know. I'm trying to think of various reasons a person would call her and hang up.

I pray this little boy is ok. I am becoming more suspicious of the step-father. Why would the child be with a babysitter rather than the stepfather.. especially being 12 years old. A 12 year old I would think would not need a sitter if a parent or adult was at home. A child that age pretty much just needs an adult at home to make sure that no one invades the home etc. I do not know why he was with a "babysitter" is the word "babysitter" used as in somewhere he liked to go play video games at? Was the babysitter being paid to watch him consistantly? Did anyone see the babysitter searching and calling his name before calling police? Was the babysitter in fact the one that did call police? I really wish they would release the 911 call to police.. tone of voice, emotional level, simple slip ups, conflicting information and odd information as in Zhara Baker case..

I pray this little boy is ok. This is a cruel world and seems to be that adults take out their emotions, temper, problems, issues on a child. How dare anyone hurt a child. They are the most precious gift given to this world.

I have a feeling this case will come together pretty quicly but that it will not have a happy ending for Jonathan.

No offense to anyone, but it has been a while since we've seen a case involving a child who lived with his biological parents. Whatever that means, if anything.

On christmas eve the weather was in the 70's till about 7pm when it started raining and the temperature dropped. On christmas night the low was 29. In my heart I don't believe this child is out in the open. Someone has him or has harmed him.

I dunno, I am under the impression that the babysitter (if real, or if he was really there that day) is under 18 - so realistically he/she would be a minor. Probably why they haven't released more information out of that corner just yet, or named the babysitter.

I have had a friends child babysit for me years past that was 15 at the time and my child would play video games while under that supervision. In fact, it was the main "tool" for the babysitter to keep my child in one area of the room and under control (my child also has a condition similar to ADD.)

I am just not too quick to say that this person doesn't exist because it seems pretty elementary to eliminate a fake person who lives 2 doors down from the child.
