I hate to ask this, but I need to... I am not trying to offend anyone, but could the slam-dunk, express lane to capital murder charges be at all race related? In Texas, black woman kidnaps, tortures, murders 12 yr old white boy. I'm not saying that the crime itself was race related. JF was targeted for his age and gender, I think. Does what I am asking make any sense?

eh......not in Houston. Some other small peadunk towns around here, ay up, but I don't think that's the case here.

Let me throw this out there...I really was not shocked with the speed of things. I think when the picture of Mona and the Mayor showed up - they felt the need for speed. Here they have this woman who supposedly killed this innocent little boy in the most horrid way imaginable, has a criminal record spanning years, and who knows what else. I think they knew exactly how fast they needed this woman to go bye-byes. Now don't get me wrong, I think they think they have a slam dunk - and the evidence will back it up, but I really believe that's the reason behind the speed of things. Image control and what not.........moooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I'm curious if this picture has been shown in the local news. I don't recall seeing it but I don't know for sure. If not, hmmmm, I can think of a few reasons a local reporter and station would not want to bring it up.

Maybe MN had "fresh" burn marks on her fingers/hands/arms or legs? And that's another link to the evidence?

This could very well be possible. If you recall, she was not at the "probable cause" hearing due to a "medical condition". My first thought was maybe drug or alcohol detox/withdrawal symptoms but fresh burns would definite be some pretty big evidence in my opinion.

Well let me throw another comment that I thing was very odd that was made very early I think during the same interview about the pedophile....When the SD was sitting next to Mom and he said something about this is going to be "BAD" how when your step-son has just went missing are you going to assume something like that? I understand that when any child goes missing it is bad, but it was the way he said it like he already knew something really "BAD" has happened.....I don't know it just didn't set well with me.

Well that explains it. I went on my space and my computer says that it blocked a threat, so I am not going back there. Didn't get a chance to look at the photos.

I went anyway and looked and then scanned my computer and nothing came up, I think LE wants people to stay away or something LOL

Yes, you do make sense. For that reason, I am glad in a way that Quannel X (at Mona's request) got involved. May be he can find out the true motive. Although , I do not think it is race related.

That was my first thought. I'm sure LE has something besides the "look in her eyes" that leads them to believe that she has killed before.

I absolutely agree that LE has more than the look in her eyes. I hope you don't mind me joining the discussion. I mostly hang out at Courttv/InSession but there isn't much discussion over there and this case has just stunned me. I'm more of a reader than a poster but I hope my occasional comments/questions will be tolerated.

Part of my thinking about LE seemingly rushing to charge MN is have all of the possible evidence sites been secured. Do not know how long LE and the evidence teams had been at MN's home when we see her on video walking out (seemingly casually like she is going to lunch with some friends). I am definitely not trying to act like I know more than any of LE, but I don't recall seeing the "typical" crime scene tapes at her home or at SE's home either. If the case should "weaken" by some technicality, wouldn't they have made sure to secure SE's aparetment, since again, we know that is supposed to be where JF was last seen. You usually hear about making sure a "crime scene does not become contaminated". Again, maybe I watch too much CSI.

thoughts on saving our children.

court appointed guardian for every new born.
put new mom in room by her self and baby, and watch how she reacts.
teach teachers etc to be observant of child behavior
chips
Find every child in this county and force parents by laws to get fingerprinted, pictures, what ever else.
All proven beyond a shadow of a doublt SO, never is set free.
go back to public hanging
we need to get a handle on the bully situation first i think
law..if you are seen not physically touching your child while out in public, you are given a ticket. We give tickets for no seat belts, but its ok to let you child wander!!!

A few years ago, us smokers could smoke where we wanted and cigarettes were cheap, now smokers are considered the lowest form of life on the planet. cigs $5.50 a pack.

Lets force (I dont know how) laws that are as restrictive as smoking laws. Each one must be inforced every time. jam up the court system? yes, and so?

We are not 20 hours into the new year and I wonder how many children are suffering needlessly at the hands of the devil.

Do real background checks, not the bs ones like we get now that usually only covers the county you requested and back 90 days.
