Sorry for any confusion caused by my reply post about the eek!shock! over seeing the video of Mona's EX-husband{that has same initials as Mona-MN}.. I should have thought to type out that I was speaking of her EX instead of just using his initials..

carry on..lol.. you haven't missed any new video of Mona speaking..lol..that would prolly get a BIG WOW! as well and I sure do wish we had atleast some audio of Mona to hear her voice..{like the news media that did the intervview with her the same day as Q-X}..why would they have atleast not gotten that interview audio recorded? I mean I can understand possibly why they'd not be able to get video..but audio? why would they not have this interview on audio?..

Regarding the carpet/odors

Is it possible that the carpet smelled of urine or feces, as those are sometimes involuntarily released upon death? Even after being cleaned.
Or possibly the stomach/intestine contents were released from puncture/burning? The odors from any of those events can be very strong and lingering. Also I am sort of surprised no mention was made of any blood residue...unless that was something possibly found in the trash can taken as evidence. Blood can smell very metallic, whereas decomp seems to have a 'sweet' underlying odor.

Hey, passion! I've got another question that you just made me think of... is this ex-husband{MN}that was in the video from Mt. Pleasant{Mona's hometown}...Is this man the father of her twins?.. Because to my knowledge she just has the two 26 yr old boy/girl twins and then 5 grandchildren..

But the way the ex spoke in this video make one think that possibly they just shared a son..no? It sounded that way to me..when he spoke more than once during the short interview of their son..never mentioning the daughter at all{especially if a twin it's odd that he'd only speak of one, IMO}..

The last thing he states about their son was that "he{son} wants to go to the jail and sit in front of her..just to see.." and its left just like that.. IMO insinuating that by the son sitting directly in the presence of his mom that he wanted to be able to see if she had infact done this most heinous of crimes that she is charged with doing..KWIM??

so, I was just wondering if possibly there was another son, besides the twin..because from the video of the ex I was left with the impression that they only shared a son..just wanted to know if anyone possibly knows if there's another child..or did anyone get a similar impression from the video..

I'm gonna repost the link of the video so that those who've not yet seen it can view and see what their thoughts are on it?

I think it is the twin because their daughter is suppose to have nothing to do with her mother after the 2009 fight but the son wants answers IMO.
Imagine your X, mother,sister doing such a hedious thing.........
I would never be prepared for any of this in my life...........
or having my family member murdered in such a cruel, deliberate, unnecessary way...............:banghead:

I can honestly say that after what went on at her residence, I most assuredly would have become sick if I walked in there.

I do not care what type of industrial cleaner or what else she may have used. :shakehead: This was carpet for crying out loud.

It is totally bizarre to think about being in that situation of a family member sitting in jail for such a crime.
This is not your normal run of the mill family member who may have had one too many eggnogs during the family holiday dinner.

I felt her sister was totally detached from the real situation.
Her ex-husband seemed to say the only thing he could under the circumstances.

These of course are only my observations from the videos.

Yes, Michael is the father of the twins. They got married when Mona was 17 years old and the twins were born 2 months later. I don't know when they divorced. There was a short biography of Mona's in an article released yesterday:

She says she attended five Houston-area schools, earning B and C grade averages. She dropped out of Bellaire High School in 11th grade and completed her GED at Houston Community College.

She left home at age 15 and met her future husband, Michael Nelson, shortly before her 16th birthday. The couple married on May 7, 1983, when the bride was 17 and the groom 28.

Two months later, Nelson reportedly gave birth to twins - a boy and a girl - three months prematurely.

Remember AB stated it was Kinda horrifying? I think most people who can kill in this manner really has no issue with it and maybe since they cannot relate to human emotion themselves they don't get what the fuss about it is because to them it isn't bad.

She's due in court Monday so hopefully one of the stations will post video on their website. I would think she'd have to speak at some point during the hearing, but maybe not. I imagine she'll have to answer questions like do you want an attorney appointed for you, do you understand the charges against you.
