I don't know that it has been verified, but you have to co-worker saying he called for her #, and then you have Mona saying she went by there to get the number, so I'm thinking that this part is true. What I can't figure out is would Jonathan let a "stranger" in in the first place, or did he know Mona? Because he just called to get the number and must not have sounded upset or anything or the co-worker would have noticed. so after going around and round....I think JF knew Mona too.

ETA....Maybe SE had just had her number changed or something.....maybe even to avoid Mona.

Mona did maintenance for several apartment complexes. I wonder if she had key??

FWIW: Keep in mind that normally you can't even have a barbecue without the neighbors knowing you are cooking hot dogs and hamburgers.

If you get a string caught in the vacuum cleaner and the belt gets heated, chances are your neighbor is going to know what you did especially if they are close by.

Same would apply to any other fires within the household.

:pullhair:

Why oh why is the media saying Jonathan was at the apartment in the last video posted?
This was obviously recorded last night after MN arrest.

More statements that do not add up or make sense.

new mug shot - wearing the white 'Corona' T-shirt?

I think someone actually saw her that day, tbh. Reports yesterday say they were looking for a hispanic male, or was that bad journalism? In either case, had someone seen her there could be a mistake (please, mods... just saying from across the street looking at the bungalow. easy mistake.)

If not, the person Mona says was in the house is just a goose chase.

And that even depends if DD wasn't the person in the apt. Oh wth, did I just say that?

Maybe he was rolled up in carpet to transport his body? If she was some sort of worker around there, people might not notice her transporting a roll of carpet...

Do we know if this is still the case?

Houston Police Sgt. Stuart Harris of HPD's Missing Person's Unit said the boy's mother told police she last saw him around 1:45 p.m. and reported him missing about 9:30 p.m.

With the threatening phone calls, WHY did she wait until 9:30 PM to report him missing. I'm not sure what info is true and what is not. Thanks!

One thing I can say about Texas, is it's a good ol' boys state. They use the DP frequently and don't put up with a lot of carp.

offenders do not have televisions in their cells (Yahhh)

The day starts at 3:30 a.m. and breakfast is served at 4:30 a.m.. Offenders report to their work assignments at 6:00 a.m.. Every offender who is physically capable shall have a job in the prison system. (good - keep em from sitting on their butts)

Offenders who demonstrate good behavior can earn one 5-minute collect phone call every 90 days (1 5 minute call every 90 days - can you believe it)

I don't think MN isn't going to like it much!

She's no stranger to the Texas Prison system...

Court records show that in 1984, Nelson was charged with aggravated robbery. She later pleaded guilty in exchange for 10 years' probation. Her probation was revoked in 1991 and she was sent to prison. She served just over three years, was paroled in October 1994 and would have remained under supervision until August 2001, Jason Clark, a Texas Department of Criminal Justice spokesman, said Thursday.

He was reported missing at 3:00, iirc. He was put into the "MISSING PERSON" database at 9:30.

Didn't the step dads car get towed at the same time. Do I remember this correctly that is was reported that after reviewing a video the car was confiscated?

And, on December 14, 2010 the mother moved the child away from the SD because he got angry and slapped him.

OK where is that picture that we speculated looks like the child has a black eye and doesn't it say taken 2 weeks ago?

I know Mom is upset, but I can't help but notice how she says she "never said it was someone named Mona...I never pointed a finger at anyone". Just strikes me as maybe she wanted others to know she never pointed at Mona? IDK........

???never had one come up that way, but it's working, lol.

Thanks for posting this video. I thought the same thing when I heard that. She sounds like she's emphasizing that she didn't know Mona, had nothing to do with this, has not made any enemies that would want to hurt her or her child. She did not bring this down upon her son.
She also goes on to emphasize her husband is not involved or implicated in any way.
Still gotta wonder why they towed the gold Mercedes away?

Police were at the home at 3:30 Friday afternoon, and told Mom she needed to go someone to report him at a juvenile place, when she did that they did not enter his info in the system until 9:30pm so no it is not true, she or someone in the family called LE and they were at his home from 3:30 until 4:15pm Christmas Eve.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered.

Based on the timeline:

Jonathan was kidnapped on 12/24
Remains were found on 12/28

What wasn't said in the PC hearing is when the body of Jonathan was disposed. Was it the 24, 25, 26, 27, or 28th? How many days did this monster have him. The surveillance tape should have a date/time stamp right?

I really wish we had this piece of info.

Well, Nelson went back to Jonathan's apartment that night, so she either left him (alive/deceased)at her house when she did so or she had him (deceased) in the truck and put him in the ditch.

She must have went back to the apartment for a purpose that night.

Besides placing herself in the apartment in case LE found evidence of her there.

Speaking of which, DID LE find evidence of Nelson in Jonathan's apartment?

His Aunt Renee from MO is posting on here, I asked her the other day about that photo, and she said it was the normal coloring around his eyes and that they were not black eyes, and yes that photo was approx 2 weeks old.

I feel her purpose was to leave a warning so to speak for someone at the duplex and also to check out what was going on.

LE has not said either way about evidence found where Jonathan lived.

I thought in that examiner's article linked here that HPD said initially he said 1:45 but it turns out it was just before all that happened?

BBM

I'm not a fan of the examiner's reports.

IMHO, they towed the gold mercedes away as it belonged to the step-dad and he ORIGINALLY was the last person to see the child, so it's SOP to impound the car and go over it with a fine tooth comb.

I believe the problem emerged when the parent's explanation differed from neighbors, who it's now learned, spotted the now suspect at the home, about the time of the child's disappearance.

Is anyone working on or does anyone have a timeline going? I realize we have conflicting information still -- perhaps a timeline with notations as to what we know as FACT and then what is still to be determined.....
