Thinking over that phone call to Jonathan's mom, the person asked Jonathan if his mother's name was Angela. Hardly fits with doing drugs for weeks together as Quannel claimed.

Did she ask if his mother's name was Angela, or if Angela was his mother? I see those as two different questions. The first - sounds like she didn't know Angela at all. The second - sounds like she knew (of) Angela but wasn't sure if she was Jonathan's mother.

Ok for those wondering about a cordless phone reception, last night I took ours (we don't use it anymore but it's sitll hooked up LOL) I live in a neighborhood with regular square blocks. I could still just barely get reception on the back side of my block When i crossed the street on the block behind me, the phone cut out.

Now the phone from roommates house is missing, the tight timeline shows that Mom got someone on the phone as she was driving home from work it was the second call where she dialed out and got presumably mona on the phone and the whole Is your mom's name angela thing. It said within 5 minutes mom was home Jonathan was gone, so hypothetically Mona and Jonathan could have already been traveling or heck been hidden within a block of the complex and the phone would have still worked (becasue presumable the phone was with them since it's missing). Mine is an OLD phone too, from early 2000 if not 1999 or 1998. The new ones are waay better probably with better reach too.

Just thought I'd throw that out there as it was bugging me why the phone humg up...

I think when Angela called she said "This is Angela, where is my boy?" and the person on the phone said "Is Angela your mama" and JF replied "Yes."

All this would lead me to assume that it was JF that placed the first emergency call to his mother (the one that AD coworker received.)

Just really hope, I pray, that Mona will talk and confess today. I don't think until she does we will ever be able to sort that phone call out.

witnesses saw mona talking to Jonathan at 12:30 xmas eve. So he was where? Outside? and then what? Witnesses and mona herself place mona at the scene at 12:30.

Did these witnesses see her between 1:45 and 2:00? witnesses saw her, but noone saw her lure him out of the house? or him leaving with her?

So she left in time for the SD well check at 1:45? came back and she then left with Jonathan in time for the mom well check at 2 something? She didnt know these people but knew what their times of arrival would be? Extremely calculated.

How was he taken? was he conscious? Did he walk out with her? was he secretly carried out?

Roommate wasn't home. It is currently believed Mona made the phone calls to Angela. Yes mona was in roommates place when she took Jonathan. Supposedly she came asked for a phone number then stap dad checked on him then mona came back and took him. It's a VERY tight timeline.

Yes, indeed... I'm going out on a limb here with approximate times (and it will be hard to type... :():

- 2:00: takes Jonathan
- 2:15: arrives at her house (how far was it?) and has to get him in (unseen?)
- 2:30-5:30: the approx time window for murdering, torching, loading up body into vehicle, cleaning up her own appearance (? - shower, change clothes)
- 5:30: leaves her home
- 6:00: dumps at culvert
- back to SE and AD's place

Talking about the StepDad only in the context of what has been said by MN is allowed. Rumors of drugs etc. is not allowed.

The mother is a victim, she has been cleared by the police and she is off limits.

Please remember we are a victim friendly forum and we do have family here with us.

Thank you.

Slaying Suspect Previously Charged With Injury To Child

Snips from the story

Nelson is from Mount Pleasant, Texas, in Titus County. Her name is well known in the town of about 20,000.

In 2001, Nelson was charged with three counts of injury to a child. All of the children were under the age of 14.

According to the police report, a woman named DM said that Nelson broke into her home through a window by breaking it with beer bottles.

The charges that resulted from the incident were burglary of a habitation, three counts of injury to a child and assault.

The police report showed that the children suffered injuries including a fractured foot, head trauma and a contusion on an elbow. The children were taken to a hospital by ambulance.

MN house was 7 miles away, iirc. She was 4 miles from where JF's body was found.

Depending on her size, the truck itself and how often those roads are traveled I couldn't even speculate how she transported him. MN could of had tinted windows, and trucks sit high making it somewhat impossible to see who it was in the truck.

My heart breaks thinking that this child was forced into her car by her using intimidation. That is one of the scariest feelings in the world.

tho not accusing... just entirely confused as to possible motive...

how did DD have a tight alibi if his alibi would have been Jonathan around the time of the crime?

I would really like to know this....

Yes, I believe that, too. Without knowing exactly who made the calls, my speculation is that JF called AD, AD called back. I first thought was that maybe JF grabbed the phone when it rang (hence the answer to why the phone was answered to begin with) and that MN yanked it away. But now I'm thinking that MN answered it herself. A combination of just not thinking and her own impulsivity, with judgment probably being clouded by the rage or whatever.

Why am I not surprised Quannel X is in the middle of this. Ugh!!

Well, just speculating, he could have gone to the store right after he saw Jonathan, so he could be on video buying something, etc.

Neighbors maybe, they were able to say when mona was there. I know at the apt. complex we lived in when we were younger people were NOSY, of course it's iowa too!

THEORY/SPECULATION:

Could Mona have provided the "container/trash can" to remove him from his home? Perhaps she had it out back from her previous visit and then she went in, tied him up, put him in the container and then put the container in her truck as a maintenance person might do?

JF was on the first call TO his mom, but not on the last call FROM his mom. Maybe he was already tied up at that point?

I too believe a neighbor saw him/DD. Seems that we have more neighbor witness statements than we ever thought. If ppl saw Mona there, they surely saw SD/DD go back to his apartment.

I have visited Texas quite a few times, I know how much people love their backyards/patios - especially if the weather is right.

THEORY/SPECULATION:

JF was on the first call TO his mom, but not on the last call FROM his mom. Maybe he was already tied up at that point?

I have questioned why his hands were bound, tbh. Your theory applies to this.

Why am I not surprised Quannel X is in the middle of this. Ugh!!
At first, I was really, really angry with his interview. BUT, I have actually told myself "Not going to be mad, I am going to hope that he is able to see the evidence in front of him, in front of her, and gets her to confess." It's all I can do at this point.

thanks for answering, as im thinkin not many want to sleuth this end of it...but im still curious to motive

that makes sense for before or after the fact....but who would be his alibi during the time mona was seen talking to Jonathan till the mom got home, other than Jonathan?

I mean if a witness saw him check Jonathan and an then saw an alive Jonathon after that, then ok....but they didnt...DD was the last to see him alive.... NO ONE saw mona even at that time leaving with Jonathan.....

Wow. That article about Mona is TELLING. Phew. Poor Jonathan and his family.

Can someone please find a source that states witnesses saw Mona talking to Jonathan at 12:30???

Thank you.

Happy New Year to you all and your families. G-d bless.

I believe that...thats why im confused to why nosy neighbors never saw mona between 1:45 and 2:00 leaving with Jonathan....

Here is another theory:

If Mona was really angry because of a debt with SE, or if this was a drug deal gone wrong with SE, how come she didn't implicate SE?

She picked DD for some reason.

I don't know if it that was because MN was sitting there that day while police were questioning everyone, and how much information she was able to collect off cuff. In my head, the only thing I can think of is that MN was super calculated that weekend. I am pretty sure she passed the roads she traveled before thinking that there were no cameras. I wonder if she knew anyone that worked at Alloy and asked prior "Do your cameras work?" I honestly believe that the cameras on and working that day were a God sent. MN seems too calculated, she scares the chit out of me.

I believe that...thats why im confused to why nosy neighbors never saw mona between 1:45 and 2:00 leaving with Jonathan....

Hmmmm, you know what? This could be where this mysterious plastic container came into play in Q's interview last night. Someone stated this earlier, tied up and put in a container. Maybe Mona is now trying to cover her tracks in blaming DD and the "he gave me a container to get rid of." Still doesn't explain why she was so drunk and went home and did what she did. (**NOT saying she was drunk, that is what MN has said.***)

Remember, too, in this tight timeline, that she's very drunk (according to Mr. X), and I'm wondering how that fits? The police show up about 3:30ish, the mom about an hour before, Mona is on video around 6ish so when is she getting drunk with SD? (insert sarcasm all throughout...her spokesman's story just cannot be reconciled with the timeline...)
