I thought someone called in about burned debris in the culvert. Upon closer examination it was determined to be the body of a small child. Isn't this what the initial reports stated? Some of us were questioning about who would actually call in a report about burned debris? It just goes to show that MSM is filling in their own holes to these stories and not keeping to the facts as they were presented. JMO

Here is what the lead detective reported at the press conference:

On Tuesday morning, Dec 28 at about 10 am, a passing motorist spotted what looked like a body in the ditch at about 1500 ____ at _____. Patrol unit responded and found that it was in fact a body in the ditch. We assigned detectives to go out to the scene.

When they got there they noticed that the body was completely burned but it appeared to be a child. The detectives that responded to the scene determined that it may be related to the missing boy obviously just from the size of the body.

Roommate wasn't home. It is currently believed Mona made the phone calls to Angela. Yes mona was in roommates place when she took Jonathan. Supposedly she came asked for a phone number then stap dad checked on him then mona came back and took him. It's a VERY tight timeline.

BBM Still catching up from pages back, but this made me think it strange that while this boy was home alone there were so many visitors in a very short time. Did Jonathan mention MN came by earlier to the step dad when he came to the house? Then, MN came back? Seems odd to me.

Yes, I agree with Peep. Appears (after the facts have been provided to us) that they may have been told not to discuss the details of the phone calls (woman attempting to disguise her voice), and Mom in her obvious grief (and she appears quite distraught), slipped.

I'm think the whole... claiming it was an emergency and wanting roommates number was a ruse to catch him when he was alone and have him thinking she ( Mona ) was "okay" and on the up and up?

My understanding from yesterday's reports was that AD and DD knew of MN (acquainted), but that Jonathan was familiar with her.

J's familiarity with MN would likely be through Mom's roommate, who has been described by MSM as both knowing MN for about a year and a friend of MN. Mom's roommate has also been described as a frequent babysitter of J, and that would likely lead to J having more exposure to MN.

Mom and SDad have been gone over with a fine tooth comb. Likely, SDad has taken and passed a poly>HPD has cleared him. MN acted alone in the disappearance, murder and disposal of J.

Does anyone know how long SE had known the bio mom before she & Jonathon moved in?

J moved in with his mom & SD in November IIRC and he & his mother had only lived at SE for a few weeks, so when did ES babysit J and how often?

Was J attending school after he & his mom moved in with SE? TIA

I have not come across how long Mom had known SE prior to Mom's and J's move-in.

I believe Mom and J had lived with SE for about 2 weeks prior to J's disappearance.

J moved in with Mom and SDad in November.

Since SE has been described in MSM as a frequent babysitter>Mom and SDad may have known her sometime, and if J had been visiting Mom and SDad while living with GMa>J would have also known SE.

Since SE has known MN for about a year, and has been described by MSM as her friend>J may have been exposed to MN ("familiar with") while both Mom and SDad were not.

In the video, detective says that although Mona initially denied that her truck was the truck on the surveillance video at site where JF found, she later admitted it was her truck and she was the person in the video.

Definitely worth watching if you have not.

I haven't found any truth that MN had a relationship with the bio mom or SD.

Just in case anyone wonders, there is no problem with non-LE persons interviewing a suspect or defendant without the presence of a lawyer and anything the suspect or defendant says in such a case can be used against them.
