Search for missing man continues more than 5 years later, Help Us Find: Jordan Green

Jordan was 23 years old when he went missing in November of 2015. For his mom Jennifer Green, the search to find her son Jordan has become even tougher.

"Well 2020 brought me COVID and 2021 brought me cancer, " said Jennifer Green. Green says she has completed chemo and she has radition coming up later this month.

"We're still gonna continue to push for any information from the public. We hope that this message gets to someone who has some information who last saw Jordan even it's a minute detail or something small, " said Officer Chris Ramos, a spokesperson with the San Antonio Police Department.

For Jennifer Green her faith continues to carry her through. "That's the same faith and trust in him that I believe he'll bring Jordan home."

The search for Jordan will contine until he's found.

Keeping this alive. I went out and searched a difficult to reach ~7 acre area (public land) right near the last place he was known to be. It has always been on my radar after noticing it on satellite imagery, but not reachable due the thick brush, cactus, and rattlesnakes/coral snakes. This is one of the few times of year it can be searched as the freeze killed off most of the foliage and brush that would normally make this area impenetrable. Still I was on my knees just to follow some of the game trails and to see under the low canopy. Most of the things I found hadn't been disturbed in years, despite the transient populuation that tends to pass through the nearby bus station, which is where I think Jordan might have been heading when "walking" home after work. Lots of medium-large sized bones and scatered remains, most of which I could find a large animal skull near. But plenty of areas I still couldn't reach without power tools.

I'm curious about which direction he was headed. I know exactly where that bar is. Family said he went under the bridge to walk home. But that leaves us with numerous directions. The new apartments just south of the bar weren't there yet. There are apartments and bus stop on the other side of Bandera, across from WalMart but it would be much quicker, just to walk up to Mainland and cross the street over there. Also back in 2015, I believe the last bus departed around 8:30 PM. So, I assume since he worked at a bar, he must have gotten off later.

Streetview from 2016, shows that he could pass right next to his work and stay on the west side of Bandera Rd and possibly cross at Eckhert Rd or he could have crossed crossed under Bandera and emerged next to "The Bend Sports Bar". There are apartments on Westchase. Knowing his direction would have been helpful.

Thanks for looking. I wish there had been crews looking in 2015.

They’ve even started a Facebook group, "Bring Jordan Green Home," where they not only share information on Jordan Green's case but updates on other missing people as well.

“Don’t be afraid to come forward because, in reality, one day it could be you or your parents in my situation,” JG said.

Jordan Green was last seen in San Antonio, Texas on the night of November 7, 2015. The 23-year-old was supposed to go home to his aunt’s house after finishing his shift at a local restaurant. But he never returned. Family believes he left the restaurant to walk home. Jordan is described as being 5’9”, weighing 165 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He has multiple identifying tattoos: a rosary on his chest with a cross that goes down to his stomach, bible scripture on his abdomen, the name Jennifer inside a heart, the words "God Got Me" on his knuckles, a Taurus on his left shoulder, the letter “J” on the back of his left arm, and the letter “G” on the back of his right arm. In November 2022, a spokesperson from the San Antonio Police Department told Dateline that there have been "no new leads" in the case and that while it is still an active investigation, Jordan's case is considered cold. Officials told Dateline they will "take any leads they can" and directed anyone with information on Jordan’s disappearance to please contact the San Antonio Police Department Missing Persons Unit at (210) 207-7660.
