JB testified he moved to Texas from Florida in 2008, and graduated from Crossroads HS. Also said he attended college in South Florida.

K Morris was indicted for murder when he knowingly and willingly handed the gun to 2nd suspect that caused the death of Mr. Diggs.

I expect we will hear more about K Morris and his defense at his hearing later this month. I think the more we learn about Morris -- the closer the shooter will be.

MOO

This is what makes most sense right now.
Joshua testified on Day 2 of her trial, he was murdered 10 days after the verdict.
If that group did it, they had time to plan and time to stalk him they knew his address from day 2.
He wouldn't have stood a chance.

He wasn't living in the same apartment complex as he was at the time of the AG shooting. He had moved. But the could have followed him from Court.

I also think he posted to social media enough that he could have been found easily. I think it was just the right timing for whomever shot him. A way to throw shade on other reasons and or people.

I also think the suspects were counting on the firestorm and rhetoric of it being a "revenge killing," and IMO, it worked as planned-- at least for a few days.

I'm not following all of this nearly as closely as the rest of you but wanted to point out that the KTLA article said Joshua moved out of Southside Flats and lived at the complex where he was killed.

"Everyone wants to be a part of what story is taking place. And many times we share information that is totally inaccurate," Pastor Marcus D. King said.

King, who leads Disciple Central Community Church, posted a message on Facebook urging people to be patient as information about the murder case unfolds.
Over the weekend, civil rights attorney Lee Merritt, who is now working with Brown’s family, tweeted incorrect information saying Brown was shot in his mouth and chest. That post was retweeted more than 77,000 times.

Merritt later scaled back his post, saying he was told by the immediate family that the medical examiner said Brown was shot in the mouth and chest. He claimed, initially, he was told Brown was shot in the back. Merritt added another witness claimed the injuries were to the victim’s buttocks and side. That retraction was only retweeted less 600 times.

Pastor King says unconfirmed or conflicting information can, at times, be damaging to the people and to the cases.

"Let’s pause. Let’s let the truth kind of develop a little bit, because it could cause hysteria and unnecessary emotions can take place," King said.

Groups call for independent investigation into Joshua Brown murder case

Besides, as the vilest Writer has his Readers, so the greatest Liar has his Believers; and it often happens, that if a Lie be believ’d only for an Hour, it has done its Work, and there is no farther occasion for it. Falsehood flies, and the Truth comes limping after it; so that when Men come to be undeceiv’d, it is too late; the Jest is over, and the Tale has had its Effect.

Correct - he reportedly moved out around Nov 2018.

He was living in it when he testified, though, far as I know.
Or they could have followed him from court.

Brown was killed Friday at his current home, the Atera Apartments, about five miles from his former complex where he, Guyger and Jean all lived.

Brown "was ambushed at his apartment complex as he got out of his car and (was) shot at close range," attorney Lee Merritt wrote in a Facebook post Saturday night. Merritt represents the Jean family.

He said at the time a medical examiner told him Brown had been shot in the mouth and chest.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins refuted some of Merritt's comments in tweets Sunday, writing Brown "was NOT shot in the mouth or head but was shot more than one time" and "many career professionals are hard at work on this case."

The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office told CNN by phone Sunday afternoon that it did not have any additional information to release in the Brown case other than his identification. A spokesperson for the medical examiner said the completed autopsy report will not be available for 90 days.

90 days.. they won't release it until toxicology is back, I would imagine. But they would have a preliminary autopsy available almost immediately- cause of death
I have a feeling I recall him giving his last address before he testified, the Atara address, I mean?

On November 23, Brown was shot at a strip club, Dallas Cabaret South, according to a police blotter item. A full police report on that shooting was not immediately available.

Citing an affidavit, the Dallas Morning News reported that a man had waited for Brown outside the club and the two fought. The man started shooting when Brown tried to leave, wounding his foot, the newspaper reported. Nicholas Shaq'uan Diggs, 26, was killed.

Kendall Morris, 26, was indicted in June for murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, court records show. He pleaded not guilty and is out on bond, his attorney, Henry Campbell, told CNN on Monday.

Campbell said Morris had "nothing to do with what happened to Josh." Morris had "no reason to want to retaliate" because he is innocent of the November shooting, Campbell said.

He said investigators have not spoken with Morris since Brown was killed.

90 days?! That's ridiculous. They can't have a backlog justifying that so what's the hold up? Due to social climate around of all of this, anything can be clarified in a timely manner should be.

All Joshua did was corroborate Guyger's account and even then, it was precious little. Reading that and seeing his concerns for his safety is really troubling. The prosecution put him at risk, imo, and it was unnecessary.

And I'm sure Henry Campbell, Esq. isn't going to let that happen anytime soon, and will take any questions for KM himself!

He did much more than that. His was the closest apartent, he had excellent hearing and visibility.
He stated he did not hear police commands.. that trashed her testimony.
But, I agree he was put at risk, wouldn't have hurt them to ask the local cops to maintain a visible presence around his apartment, at least until the trial starts...

Thank you and I wasn't thinking. So, you're right, it's his lawyer.
