Police: Someone is not telling all about missing boy

The search for Joshua J. Davis has taken investigators across state lines, seeking information.

And authorities believe that someone, somewhere, knows more than they're telling about the toddler's Feb. 4 disappearance.

Lt. John McDonald of the New Braunfels Police Department criminal investigation division said FBI investigators have been talking to individuals far away from the Savannah Hill Circle neighborhood where 18-month-old Joshua vanished into thin air three weeks ago.

NBPD Continue Search for Missing Toddler and Man Wanted for Murder

There are many cases that the New Braunfels Police Department follow-up on every day, but in recent weeks there are two that stand out as priority cases for the department.

Leading that list is the case of missing toddler Joshua Davis Jr. Missing since Feb. 4th, there has been no sign of the 2-foot tall, 30-pound boy.

In the more than 2 months since, the seasons have changed to much warmer weather, but New Braunfels Police Lt. John McDonald, who is in charge of the investigation, says there has been no change in the department’s commitment to finding the missing boy.

I read in early May that Sabrina Benetiz, Joshua's mom, had reached the 90-day point (required after giving birth from what I understand) and could now take a polygraph per her own post on Let's FIND Joshua Davis facebook page. She said she was eager to take the poly and would be at the police station that next morning to do so.

I haven't read or seen anything as to whether that happened and if so, the results. Does anyone have this information?

NBPD: No Persons Of Interest In Baby Joshua Case

Five months after 18-month-old Joshua Davis disappeared from his family's New Braunfels home on a cold February night, police said the tips continue to come in and they are pursuing each one in hopes one of the calls could be the needed break in the case.

"I wouldn't characterize anyone specifically as a person of interest or any type of suspect," said Capt. Mike Penshorn, spokesman for the New Braunfels Police Department.
