BBM I was thinking about illness or a possible accident. One of my kiddos had a lot of hair shaved to have tubes inserted in her head. Also I was wondering about hair being pulled out, either by Josh - some people do that - or someone else.

It probably doesn't mean anything, I was just curious about the hair-growth pattern.

It's always interesting to see how people analyze things here, but I think his hairline or lack thereof is probably going to be a non issue. Again, my daughter has the same (she is bi-racial b&w) and I can assure you she's not sick and no one pulled her hair out...the same for my nephew...I'm going to try to post pics... 175442_10150107041676401_679356400_6813706_1141748_o.jpg You can see her hairline is pretty thin in those two spots, even though she has a full head of hair...

218445_10150183705521401_679356400_7280368_306089_o.jpg & he was born with a mohawk lol no one pulled it, shaved it, or cut it. So it does happen people...

Precious little ones, HiHater! I agree, it's a non-issue. I have two grands, white, and both have similar hairlines to Joshua's. It's a baby thing, not a race thing, and not an abuse thing.

Love that mohawk, btw! Too cute!

thinking of joshua again today. Today I was thinking of Haleigh C., Hasanni C. and Joshua. :( (watching the caylee murder trial today made me think of these kiddos)

And I can concur that it's not an ethnic thing...my granddaughter is Caucasian with some Native American from a couple of generations ago. (If anything "Miss Friar Tuck" resembles her great-grandpa who is bald on top with a ring of hair all around! Don't tell my dad I said that though!)

Let's Find Joshua Davis on FaceBook is considering selling bumper stickers:

So far 6 "Likes" in 22 hours - the site is no longer well visited - too many questions, not enough answers and huge criticism for anyone who questions The Family, no matter how well intentioned...

Where are you little Josh?

Last week Seamus O'Riley (AKA Peter) on Statement Analysis questioned one of SB's quips from FB - it didn't go well, but other posters said her patterns could be from things other than an indication of death; like religious beliefs and her style of baby talk...

The link doesn't post here but you all know where to find him on Blogger

Investigator claims new lead in baby Joshua case
It's been more than three months since the disappearance of Joshua Davis Jr., and questions still remain over what happened to the baby boy.
Watch Isis Romero's Report
The young toddler disappeared from his New Braunfels home on Feb. 4, and no arrests have been made in the case.
Private investigator Charlie Parker, who has been working closely with the family, said a new lead is bringing hope in solving the case.

Says state still has custody of the new baby and that mother hopes to take polygraph tomorrow...

A body would not think this case could or should go on this long. One little boy, surrounded (supposedly) by family and friends disappears from a tiny home and LE is called in a short 20 min? time frame? We have one RSO close by who has been cleared? I'm not totally sure, and one (1) friend of family who isn't a POI. We have NO dog hits beyond the yard. We have no blood. We have nothing, not even any new information by LE. WTF? A little boy does NOT just go PUFF in the air.

On FB, which I know is not a source, she refutes the custody thing...hmm I wonder if the baby is not in CPS custody, but rather has been placed with her mother as some people speculated earlier...There was a previous article in which JD said they see the baby every day, but that the baby lives with SB's mom...

Also interesting, according to said FB, they are engaged now.

I wonder if the family is shifting away from the family friend, because the investigator in this story is THEIR investigator right?

This is really sad.
I don't post here often, but I do come back here quite a bit.
For the State to have the child, to a degree I understand. Then, to another degree, I don't.

I feel for this mother.

I'm praying he is still alive and well.

I wonder if passing a LD test will help her resume or obtain custody of the new baby.

This is one of those cases that just bothers me every day, but there's nothing new. :banghead:

I hope the mother passes a polygraph!

Where is this cute little boy?

(Also, I think his hair looks perfectly normal. My kids (Caucasion) had mohawk hair as babies. My daughter had very thin hair until she was two years old, so little that I couldn't even velcro a bow in it, but I had two nieces who looked the same. And one of my sons was blonde as a baby but has very dark hair now - a family trait from my side.)

I don't know and have been thinking about other cases...Terrie H. took several & claimed to her son IIRC that she had failed. It was many weeks later when she lost custody to her husband, but it didn't have anything to do with Social Services. Some states may be different, but I cannot see passing or failing a poly would have a bearing legally to remove a child. In the Somer Thompson case, the children weren't taken away as a precaution that the kidnapper may come back for the other kids. In the Dunn case, Billy still claims the State didn't order her son to be taken away, she (cough) volunteered. I believe the State did take away this baby for an unknown reason to us, but obviously for something serious enough to take away a newborn.

I hope she does/did take one and only has to take just one. I remember C. Dunn volunteering and LE wasn't interested. If she fails, I wonder if this case will heat back up?:innocent:

On another blog where people who appeared to be family were posting way back when, someone posed the question "Why is the new baby living with SB's mother?"

The terse reply was "That's none of your business."

I know it proves nothing, but it doesn't make it sound voluntary.

SB did have the new baby with her at the balloon release and she claims on FB for anyone who is watching she will have the new baby at the next media event. No comment about when that will be.

Is it possible she's just too depressed to care for a newborn right now? I believe under the circumstances most people would not want their infant out of their sight.

I still feel for this mother - I wish there was anything to point LE in the right direction - wherever that may lead.

Poor little guy, he has faded into the land of No-Where, of no news, no clues, and nothing to report. There has been nothing to indicate foul play, but this little guy did not go out and decide to explore. Somebody knows something, and it's how not one caring soul dares to speak up about who did what.
