Waco Police search for missing 7-year-old boy with autism(KWTX)
WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Waco Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 7-year-old boy.

Josiah Sterling was last seen in the 800 block of Dearborn. He was not wearing a shirt, shoes and was last seen in gray gym shorts with a black and green design.

Officials say Josiah has autism and may hide in backyards.

He is also known to run away from strangers

Josiah is also enrolled in the Take Me Home Program, a databased used by law enforcement to assist individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities.

The program provides officers with critical information to help safely communicate with and return individuals to their caregivers.
