My understanding is that the victim was not cooperative.

I was able to identify that victim by reading a whole bunch of Danbury locals talking after Zachary Foyt was arrested in Colorado. The talk was on a frequency that rang clear and strong.

It was apparent to me that the talk would make its way quickly to Jubal's father and it did.

I have questions, but I am content for the time being to wait until Foyt is extradited to learn more about the previous incident -- what happened, what did not, and the whys.

It's heart-wrenching, for sure.

thank you.... wow what a mess that was, he is right, had he been held accountable for that, Jubal may be alive.

I hope they find his head. it would bother me forever if it were my child and I did not have the whole remains.

Not that I've seen and I search for news reports on Jubal just about every day. I haven't been as diligent in checking for town talk.

Foyt is scheduled for a hearing in Colorado on July 11. Some information related to probable cause for his arrest will be presented, so we should learn something more then, if not before.

It's good to see a date for his funeral service. He was so loved by his family and friends. It's my hope for them that their love shared will ease their pain as they move through each passing day.

Jubal's funeral service will be held at 11:00 am today in Longview.

His father has a new post at Justice for Jubal where he provides a link to a You Tube video made by Jubal's brother that incorporates Jubal's "Rainy Day Guitar" composition with photos from Jubal's life.

Nothing yet. He is still in Colorado fighting extradition to Texas.

There is a hearing on Monday, July 11.

I expect some degree of the probable cause will be revealed in that hearing.

I don't know if Foyt's hearing was held today or not.

I have looked for, but not seen any reporting yet.

Information at the Jefferson County (CO) jail website is now showing his next court date at 8:00 am on August 8.

Yes, his bond was set at $5 million when he was picked up in Colorado.

No idea as to the May 1 offense date.

I'm surprised he has not been arraigned yet in Texas as far as I can tell.

Normally a probable cause affidavit becomes available after an arraignment.

Unless it is under seal. I can't think of any reason that it would be as all indications to date are that Foyt was a solo actor.

No indication as yet that an indictment has been brought. Possibly under seal, but again I can't imagine why it might be as the person accused is in custody and appears to have acted alone.

It may be that another person or persons could also be charged if Foyt received any help in concealing evidence or evading arrest.

Questions and no answers.

I thought we might see some answers this week, but apparently not. Perhaps next week.

Things I've not encountered before so I am at loss for possible answers as to where things stand in the process.
