Body found in southeast Houston positively identified as Julian Issac, medical examiner says | khou.com

An autopsy has confirmed the body found Saturday in southeast Houston was 29-year-old Julian Issac who had been missing since Tuesday morning.

The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office is still working to confirm how the popular tattoo artist died. Police said there was no evidence of foul play.

Texas EquuSearch founder Tim Miller said the body was found as volunteers were searching for Issac, not far from where he was last seen.

The community is still shocked by his sudden death and the mystery behind it. His mother and many other people want answers.

"I want justice for Julian and I don't want to hear you saying he was on drugs or something because I know my son," Azilie Issac said.

At a Sunday night vigil, Issac's mother, A. I., told KHOU 11 she texted with her son the night he went missing. "He calls me and says people are chasing him, three guys, one with a gun,"...

The last documented time anyone heard from him was 5:26 a.m., W. I. said. “A text that said, ‘Call me, call me. I’m going to get killed,’” he said. At one point, W. I. says their mother was on the phone with him. “She heard him say, ’Sir, sir, sir, I’m not doing anything I’m just trying to get to my girlfriend’s house.’ From what it sounded like, he was hiding in a backyard," he said.

What in the heck happened to Julian? LE says there is no evidence of foul play, but his family's reports make it sound as though he was involved in a scary situation. I hope they can get answers soon. My heart goes out to them.

Hmmm...I wonder if perhaps the Uber dropped him off at the wrong place or he didn't know exactly where his girlfriend lived or perhaps he was intoxicated and confused, goes to the wrong house and the homeowners think he's trying to break in and a confrontation ensues?

That's all I can really come up with that puts some of the pieces together, but really, not much makes sense.

I know I wouldn't call just anyone "Sir"--

These two incidents happened early Thursday morning. Elsa Mikeska was shot and killed outside of the Life Fit Gym (Fuqua St.) at almost 5AM. One hour prior someone else was a victim of an aggravated robbery on Freehill St. After shooting and killing Elsa, the suspects headed south on Beamer Road which is only 5 minutes from Teaneck Dr. I hope the killers didn't cross paths with Julian Tuesday. (Edited to change "today" to "Tuesday".)

This week, Mikeska's killer, now 20 years old, accepted a plea deal. After agreeing to reduce his charge from capital murder to murder, he was tried as an adult and sentenced to life in prison. He will be eligible for parole in 30 years.
