Good Morning everyone.

Thread is open again for respectful and responsible discussion.

Any idea what the verified insider status is for these folks who applied?

We are still waiting. I don't understand why the hold up for so long. Hopefully soon!

And if it's declined, I hope they let you know that, too.

<modsnip: discussing moderation not allowed> So, TT said he gave her money to go shopping. Was he under the impression she was going to do a lot of shopping, or had she already done some and it was just last minute stuff ? TIA. I think that can be answered with an opinion. I wonder this because of the never ending contradicting stories about the car having packages of presents vs. one package. Maybe when it was found it did have several packages and someone took them that night.

If I missed this, forgive me. Does anyone know where the information regarding the Myers stop, the gas stop, and stopping by other houses came in to play? The source? Article, or a person stating this? In other words, who said?

This is not the reference I believe you're after but I'll also post here an excerpt from the book Texas Far and Wide about a petrol station sighting in Feb, 1975.

Does anyone want to work with me to produce a fully annotated resource of articles produced about this case in the MSM?

I've begun a timeline and even a family tree to get my head around things personally, but they would break TOS.

If we could break the contentious points (e.g. The Letter; The Mall; The Vehicles; The "Witnesses"; Houston) and lay out who said what and when in news articles, it could help the frustration.

I have several articles, but they are screen shots of online ones. There are SO many, being that its been so long.

I've noticed it too.
And thank you for you're your responses. They were on spot!
People get a little freaked out with this newer line of questions about FA and RA.
There was a few here before me that brought it up that don't post quite as much now.I remember when I first questioned the them I got some PM's thanking me and one person I think has found someone to help further their research I hope it leads somewhere.

Here are the changes...the car was found at 4 or 6. Cotton was at the mall on car watch or not. The car had presents or not....
Did those change in news articles?I think Terry Moseley was the first I actually saw reply to the question of presents at the FB that I actually thought would know.

It if you send those ppl a PM and invite then to show back up. Can't hurt, might help.

I wonder where the author's facts come from?He has several witnesses at the mall and presents in the car. Also that zipcode for that letter it is hard to take anything serious still questioning what it is.

Here is an article detailing what the 760 zip code was.

It won't let me view the bibliography, but probably most of it came from the same place "facts" in this case usually does.

Has anyone thought that stamp could have been a surplus tool? Maybe defective that someone had on hand or someone else had got in a junk sale.
I have seen that sort of stuff in boxes at sales and other places.
One estate sale I went to in the 80's had a box filled with stamps and ink pads. Just surplus old stuff.
There might be a simple answer to the wacky zip code.
