Were there any new building projects or expansions (that that company might've been working on) going on in that area around the time the girls disappeared?I think they might of serviced the South Side of Fort Worth in 1974.
I'll grant the possibility TT killed Rachel somehow (accidentally or otherwise), but I'm leaning toward the other two being trafficked. I think FA actually told the truth when she said that's what she thought happened (at least with Renee and Julie). I think DA had a hand in it. In fact, their comments along those lines are eerily detailed and non-chalant, IMO. The handwriting on the envelope matches TT's because it is TT's-- a pre-addressed envelope kept handy for any number of uses. I believe DA was aware of this and snagged one for use on this particular day. Also, there was no need for a letter to "buy time" (of a week, no less) unless arrangements were being made to 'transport' someone out of the area. It doesn't take a week to bury three bodies. LE was doing nothing during that week to investigate, so as long as the girls were kept out of sight, the perpetrators were home free.Attack away. Every theory should be questioned. As I mentioned in a previous thread, there are parts of that scenario that are 'weak', but I feel it is one of the more likely scenarios.
You could be right. I think they were ALL three killed that afternoon and disposed of that day.I'll grant the possibility TT killed Rachel somehow (accidentally or otherwise), but I'm leaning toward the other two being trafficked. I think TT and ST both lied to protect each other and their son. ST might've lied a)to keep TT out of prison (he was financially supporting her), and b) out of fear of DA. If any of this is the case, finding out Renee's and Julie's true fates is nigh impossible (unfortunately). However, if this is what happened, I do believe at least Rachel's body can still be located, as I believe she's buried somewhere in or near the Fort Worth area (with the possible exception of the A plantation in Marshall)--hence all the theatrics and 'misdirection' over the years (the 'sightings' were a very cruel joke). I could be wrong about all of this.

I always thought it was the perpetrator(s) who didn't want the FBI involved, but it could just as easily have been FWPD. If everything at FWPD was aboveboard, you'd think they'd have pulled out all the stops to work a case involving missing minors. Somebody there had something to hide, IMO.Buying time could have been one reason but just as likely to make it appear a runaway case. To keep the FBI from becoming involved, and they still haven't become involved up unto this day. Why? Because FWPD has made statements to the effect that the girls went willingly? So it's still not considered kidnapping?
When a nine year old is taking from their home and not returned in a reasonable time then it's kidnapping as far as I'm concerned.
As I understand it, the FBI's assistance would have to be requested from local LE. They wouldn't just "show up". I know of another case where public frustration with local LE's indifference and incompetence had citizens appealing directly to the FBI, begging them to get involved. The FBI finally contacted local LE to offer assistance, only to be told, "no thanks, nothing to see here".Buying time could have been one reason but just as likely to make it appear a runaway case. I have a theory that the letter was to stop le digging into the situation too much, and finding out just what was going on in one family particularly. The reason it worked so well can't just be police incompetence though can it? As you say you would think when after a week no girls came skipping back from Houston, a 9 year old would be classed as a kidnap victim and the case handled differently. Yet for years they were simply runaways, just as the letter said. Just as le allowed them to beBuying time could have been one reason but just as likely to make it appear a runaway case. I think this is most likely scenario too. With the bodies moved that evening. You could be right. I think they were ALL three killed that afternoon and disposed of that day.
How so? Someone makes a phone call or two to the right people, and it's a done deal. If they were transported into Mexico (for example), what would be the risk? What happens in Mexico stays in Mexico. They are someone's property.JMO, but I think trying to traffick the girls would be somewhat problematic and very risky particularly if the abductor(s) were acquainted with them.
NO......Actually they could still be runaways.General question: Have any of the three missing girls ever been declared deceased? Can't recall if I've ever seen anything in regard to that. Seems strange, given the amount of time since their disappearance (fifty years next year).
I don't remember that one. What about the girls hitchiking in Arkansas? Why did they even tell us that?
Don't remember that, either. And then there's Swaim and his informant. The only thing we got informed about is how the girls hadn't been taken out of Texas.
A couple years back DA stated she wasn't pursuing this anymore, because she wanted "peace" for Mama to enjoy old age with her family. She was "willing to fight for this". FA's statement was "I know they're being prostituted and tortured, so let them rest in peace, wherever they are".This case has gone quiet. ALL the verified members have gone quiet. RA,DA.and FA have gone quiet.
Someone posted on here in a previous thread that LE is "waiting for all the witnesses to die, because of the stench, if it is stirred". Unfortunately, it appears they're getting their wish...RW died so he's quiet. ALL the investigators the security guards and VB have died so their all quiet. LE has gone quiet. Nothing But Crickets Now.
Not sure this is what T rex was referring to but this is what I thought about. The green is the still in fw bit, purple the Arkansas bit.I don't remember that one.
Don't remember that, either.
