Teen, 18, fatally stabbed 'by 16-year-old girl during fight after arguing on social media' | Daily Mail Online
A Texas teenager was fatally stabbed by another teen girl, reportedly after weeks of feuding on social media.
Authorities said Kaitlin Leonor Castilleja, 18, of San Antonio, Texas, was fatally stabbed Friday at about 1am after she and Vivian Foster, 18, confronted a 16-year-old high school student outside the teen's home, according to My San Antonio.
Police said that while the three teens were fighting, the 16-year-old stabbed Castilleja and Foster.
Castilleja was said to have been mortally wounded by the unnamed teen, while Foster received superficial cuts.
Police said that after the attack, the 16-year-old called authorities to report that she had been assaulted in her driveway when she returned home from work and noted that Castilleja and Foster had been sending her social media messages 'stating they want to fight her.'
Marie Fernandez told WCVB that Castilleja 'isn't able to give you her side of the story, but it's been ongoing bullying on both sides,' adding that: 'There's so many factors that have contributed to this, and at the end of the day, whether it was wrong, in all aspects my niece had no intentions of hurting anyone.'
Fernandez told the San Antonio Express-News that Castilleja and the 16-year-old were supposedly fighting over Castilleja’s ex-boyfriend and said that her niece was 'lured' to the house and 'had no chance.'
Fernandez said that the attack was videotaped and asked 'What kind of person does that?'
The 16-year-old is being detained until her hearing, which is expected to be next week. San Antonio Police are continuing to investigate the incident as a homicide, according to KENS 5.
