One homeowner says she had no idea her late parents' property was connected to a missing woman investigation until detectives showed up with a search warrant.

Investigators searched two homes in southwest Houston overnight in connection with the disappearance of Kalie Goodwin, a Baytown woman who has been missing since April 2024. Baytown Police confirmed the search warrants were executed with assistance from Texas EquuSearch and Precinct 7 deputies, though authorities have not disclosed what, if anything, was found during the search.
