Hi all, I wish I had known this topic was here, I took a shot after watching the trial today. I knew Kari in HS, when her mom was a teacher in the same HS. Kari was a truly sweet person. This case is so heartbreaking for those of us who knew her forever.. I can only imagine the pain in her family, and her poor daughters.

WELCOME MiaG!!!!!!! I never knew her or anyone in the case, but from what I have seen Kari was a devoted mother and wonderful person. I know she deserved better than what she got and so did the beautiful girls she left behind.

ABSOLUTELY! If you can...I really don't usually have too much time to really search out articles in the evening (just do fly-by's), so it's helpful to me. I did enjoy the one link posted earlier today (central texas now, or similar), where I could cruise by a few times during the day and get their updates, too.

I get the Waco Trib Herald at home, so I'll be reading the paper everyday, but as long as you're still interested in this case and giving updates, I'll sure be reading. :blushing:

Okay! I was thinking maybe I was the only WS following it. I am watching every minute of the live feed and I have google alert for all the stories and I go thru to make sure they are all different.

I watched part of the live feed today. Then was watching our local news (KXXV) Well during Grey's they kept advertising for the 10 oclcok news that there was eveidence from teh trial today about possible conflict of intrest with one of the witnesses. Well somehow I missed that part of the news cast(I usually watch KWTX anyway) but left it on KXXV, anyway, my question IS does anyone know what KXXV was referring to. Which witness MAY have a conflict of intrest?? I am now confused. I tried going over what KXXV has posted up to this point, and can not find any "NEW" info since the trial shut down for today. I also went to the other news sight.(I know the area/stations well as I live less then 30 minutes from Waco)

I have thought Matt was guilty since hearing of the whole story. Mostly I beleived it because knowing Linda Dulin, I know her to be very sensible, and do not believe the thought would even occur to her that her SIL would murder Karu, without some pretty good evidence. Then I never bought the story on how/why Matt gave the "friend" Kari's cell phone.. then more info came out. (ie other girls he had harressed/propostioned). Then the info on the "honeymoon" came out today... I was just shocked. I am thankful Linda asked the questions and pursued this, so those little girls did not spend their life with unanswered questions. Anyway..I am waiting to hear the "girlfriend" testify. Oh and the "missing" computer is pretty damning in itself imho.

Only thing I can speculate that they might be referring to is the testimony of Toombs as he knew the family. But that testimony was heard without any objection, so I am baffled. I put what I found from their site below but nothing in it like you said, shows any hint of a conflict of interest. I will check it later and knowing me, maybe even call them and ask if nobody knows. IF anyone knows - please post!!!!!!!!!

Linda ROCKS!!! I missed part of her testimony, but caught most of it.. She is a ROCK!! I loved her comments on what she felt the statements in Karis Bible meant.. HOPE.. Go Linda!!! I felt the same way when the lawyers were asking about the Bible jourmals the first day of trail.. I knew exactly what Kari was saying, the hope and knowledge she would be with Kassidy one day...

I have not figured out what the channel KXXV was referring to.. It was during the news commercials for Greys and PP, they kept mentioning the contiuning trial, I beleive they even said something abut a "bombshell in todays testimony" and KNOW they said "new information of conflicting intrest of one of the witnesses" Maybe it was their attempt to sensaualaize.(sp?)
